CASSIDY HAD BEEN STAYING AT AUBREY AND HER BROTHER'S PLACE TO LET JOSIE DEAL WITH HER MOM.
aubrey watched cassie get ready for her date with nate. "so tell me what happened again!" aubrey smiled, holding her sick baby in her arms.
"okay so! serena told me that nate planned a whole suprise date for us, and shes our wingman and all communication before we meet is gonna happen through her" cassie smiled.
"why is serena getting involved?" aubrey asked. "i actually don't know, she texted me and nate last night and said that she wanted to help" cassie furrowed her brows. "of course, shes always getting involved" aubrey rolled her eyes, "why do you hate her?" cassie laughed softly.
"i have nothing against her, ryan and dan are going back to her" aubrey pressed her lips together. "i'm sorry a"
"hey hey hey!" ryan came into the room. "where are you going?" cassie asked him. "me and dan are gonna meet up before our dates with serena" he smiled.
"thats a creepy threesome" cassie gave him a sarcastic look before going back to apply her lip gloss. "you know what i mean" he rolled his eyes.
"will i be seeing you both at chuck's saints and sinners party tonight?"
"i can't asher is sick" aubrey looked up at him. "what? what happened?" he sat down on the bed next to her.
"hes got a fever, coughing, won't eat and wants to do nothing but lie on me" aubrey complained. "let me cancel on serena, i'll stay" ryan pulled out his phone but aubrey slapped it out of his hands. "no go, i can handle it" aubrey told him. "fine but i'll call every hour" he said before leaving.
"you should have told him to stay!" cassie whispered sitting opposite from aubrey. "no, i should let him be happy, now you go too! be happy" aubrey shooed her away.
cassie entered a private suite in a restaurant in the empire state building that has a view of all of new york. she waited 15 minutes for nate before deciding to text serena.

cassie, sorry i didn't respond, i was busy, but nate said he would try to get there soon

seriously? its been an hour serena, is he coming or not?
cassie slammed her phone on the table in annoyance. nate had never been this late to their dates before.
"hey can i get two bottles of champagne please, to go?" cassie leaned her head into her arm.

i am so sorry cass! nate changed his mind, hes not coming.
by the time cassie got that text she was already drunk in an uber heading home. her phone had rung and she picked it up.
"cass?" nate spoke on the other end. "nate, i can't talk right now" she slurred before hanging up the call.
hours later cassie had sobered up and headed to the saints and sinners party to support chuck.
"hey" she walked up to her brother. "hi" he mumbled. "how was your date?" she asked, taking a sip of a nearby wine, "she didn't show, and we are making her choose by midnight, you?"
"he didn't show up"
"cassie!" nate called out from behind and she turned around. "why did you change your mind?!" the two yelled at the same time. "what the hell are you talking about?!" cassie argued in confusion.
"you didn't show up to my game and serena told me you changed your mind afterwards" nate told the girl, "what? she told me we were going to the empire state building, and you changed your mind" cassie stated. "oh god" the archibald mumbled and cassie turned around, both knowing they were set up.
the curtains opened only for everyone to see serena opening them to see blair and chuck.
the crowd gasped and cassie ran to find serena with nate behind her.
she stopped suddenly and turned around. "nate, maybe this is a sign" cassie stated. "a sign for?" nate furrowed his brows, "that we aren't supposed to be together" cassie crossed her arms. "oh come on cass!" nate pleaded with the girl to listen.
"i don't think we can be together nate" cassie said before storming off.
she approached serena at the drinks table and took a spot next to her. "don't. dan, ryan and blair already gave me shit" she slurred. "what are you gonna say now?"
"you set me and nate up serena" cassie took a shot. "no i didn't cassidy, someone is setting me up" serena stammered. "whatever, we were already over anyway. " cassie said.
the blondes left the party with their arms around eachother and drunk out of their minds.
"hey hey, come here" a girl took serena off cassie. "i'll take you home" she said. "no serena! where are you going!" cassie said with her blurred vision. "i'm taking her home"
"oh, okay! bye serena!" cassie said, stumbling away. unknowing that something seriously bad was gonna happen to serena.
cassie made it a few streets before she started to lose consciousness. "oh no, hey, hey, wake up!" a man picked her up and tried to shake her awake.
