13 | too soon.

                                                                         SEASON 1 EPISODE 16 

ONE WEEK AFTER the accident, cassie entered her recently trashed house, crutches in her hands, cast on her leg, at least her face was recognizable. She looked around her house imagining the counter her head was slammed into, the knife her neck was cut with.  

"cassie?" nate archibald called out to her from the door, "yeah" cassie mumbled as she looked around her somehow clean house. "oh yeah, while you were in the hospital, i cleaned up your house a bit" nate said walking closer to the girl. "thank you" cassie said smiling at him.

the blonde was wearing a grey sweat suit with her hair in a messy bun, and she was tired as hell. "hungry?" nate asked the girl who was trying to find herself a comfy spot on the couch. "yeah" cassie replied. 

the archibald turned on the stove, while cassie was in her own world. "nate what was that?" cassie said as she got on her knees on the couch. "i just opened the fridge?" nate questioned the girls startle. "the doors unlocked" the girl tried to run but with her broken leg she ended up falling off the couch, "cassie!" the man yelled as he ran up to the girl who had her knees up to her chest and was praying. "please don't hurt me" cassie cried, "cassie, i'm not gonna hurt you, i never will" nate tried to hug the sobbing girl, "why, you hate me after all" cassie sobbed.

nate let out a breath and crashed his lips against cassie's, the girl was taken by suprise.as much as cassie wanted the kiss to happen, she didn't want it under these circumstances. the kiss lasted about 3 ish seconds before nate pulled away "i love you cassie, i will do anything to protect you" 

"i have to go" cassie spat back, as she stood up and grabbed her crutches and her phone.

"cass wait" the blonde heard nate say as she hopped out the door. 

cassidy took a cab to the cafe where aubrey would probably be right now hanging out with dan and vanessa.

"aubrey!" cassie called out as she entered the cafe, "cassie!" aubrey walked up to hug her best friend. "oh you look like a mess" she blurted out, "aubrey! hey cass" vanessa got mad at aubrey for saying something like that to her best friend, "sorry, cassie, you should so meet sarah, she's amazing!"  "maybe later, can we talk? i really need you right now" cassie whispered in her best friends ear, "later promise, m'kay?" aubrey smiled and walked over to the counter. 

"oh my god cassie?! its so nice to finally meet you, i'm so sorry about the accident, i'm sarah!" sarah said as she plastered a huge smile on her face. "its fine, i'm-" cassie turned around, she spotted a black haired girl with blue eyes who looked exactly like the girl from the car. "georgina?" cassie questioned,  "i thought your name was cassie" sarah laughed, "no your name is georgina"  "no i'm sarah?" the black haired girl questioned, "listen you bitch, i have been thorugh this once before i don't need to go through this again" cassie yelled out to sarah in front of the whole cafe. 

"cassidy, get out, go calm down and come back later" aubrey pulled the girl outside. "what the hell happened to her?" dan asked the best friend, "i don't know, i'll call nate later and ask" 

cassie on the other hand was feeling helpless, she had no one to turn to, except blair waldorf. 

the gilmore knocked on the waldorf's door, "cassie, hi! come in" blair said ushering the girl inside, "hey b" cassie mumbled.  "oh god, you look terrible" blair said with pure disgust which cassie gave her the "i know" look, "honey you come in here looking like that, your not getting my sympathy, come on" blair led her to the bathroom, "close the door please" cassie told the girl as she took her messy hair out of the bun. "its just us don't worry" blair turned on the bath, "close it please" cassie repeated.  

the blonde sat in the warm bath as her best friend wet her hair. "so tell me, i thought you were staying at your house?" blair asked as she dumped a bottle of shampoo into cassie's hair. "i just couldn't be there, not after calvin" cassie muttered the last part. "why did calvin, dylan  wanna hurt you?" blair asked, "because i left him" "why did you leave him" "because" cassie's voice started to break, "he hit me every single day, and he always would cheat on me" cassie sobbed. "i didn't tell anyone because he would've gotten in trouble and i still loved him."  

"oh my god cass i'm so sorry" blair hugged the girl, "who knows about this?" blair asked, "you, and nate knows that we had problems"  "you and nate, huh?" blair said attempting to change the topic. "if you like him, i support you both" blair sat down on the bathtub, "i love you b, thank you for helping me" the gilmore said hugging her friend, "i love you more cass, i'm always here for you, now finish up i'll go grab us something to eat, and  turn on gilmore girls!" blair said walking out of the room. 

cassie finished up her bath, and she actually felt really good about herself, but she doesn't know if she was back to normal yet. she wrapped her towel around her body and stepped out of the tub, but slipped on some water stepping out, falling on her face. "ow fuck" the girl whispered, yep shes back to normal. cassie walked over to the sink and used blair's heated brush to straighten her hair, the girl actually has curly hair but hates it so she straightens it, and uses a curling iron or just straightens it. 

cassie slipped on some of blair's pink pjs and walked over to the living room. "b, your bathroom floors are hard as a rock" cassie said not knowing what shes about to walk into, "serena? what happened?" cassie said running over to comfort her crying friend. "i can't tell you guys" serena choked on her own tears, "s, your our sister, you can tell us anything?"  blair said rubbing the girl's leg. "oh my god, are you pregnant?" cassie put her hands over her mouth, "dan humphrey scored!" cassie cheered, "cassie!" the brunette yelled smacking the gilmores leg.   

"rena, we love you, and we want to help you, but in order for us to help you you need to tell us what happened" cassie grabbed the other blondes hands, "and its okay, if your pregnant, it happens to the most of us" cass said putting on a smile, which made blair let out a quite "oh my god".

"i'm not pregnant, i killed someone" serena said looking up at both her best friends. "i'm gonna open a bottle of wine" cassie placed a kiss on serenas head, "i'll be back babe" cassie said heading to the kitchen. "i'm gonna grab my moms valiums, stay here" blair said going upstairs.

cassie popped open a bottle of mrs.waldorf's favorite wine, shes probably gonna kill cassie when she gets home but shes one of the people that has a huge soft spot for cassie. the blonde's phone starting ringing so she picked it up, "hey cassie" a soft voice spoke on the other end, "aubrey? i'm suprised you called" cassie said pouring a quarter of wine into serena's glass, "i promised i would call you later, how are you?" aubrey asked, "fine" cassie gave a vague response, "listen i wanted to talk to you about your behavior today, sarah broke down in tears after you yelled at her, why the hell would you do that?" aubrey berated her best friend. "her name is georgina, not sarah aubrey" cassie drank half the bottle of whine after hearing aubrey defend sarah, "when i got hit by the car, i swear to god, she was in the passenger seat, and dylan called her georgina." cassie told the girl angrily, "go get some sleep cassie, your acting crazy, bye love you" aubrey said as cassie hung up the call.

"georgina's back?" blair questioned the blonde, "yep and aubrey is totally clueless" cassie said putting her hands in her hair. "she knows dylan?" blair leaned against the wall, "yep, she was in the car when i got hit."  "aubrey hasn't met georgina" blair told the girl, "i know but i thought she would have believed me and not think i was crazy"  "where's serena?" cassie asked.

"shes gone, i just was about to tell you"
