12 | if you wanted me dead, you should have just said pt.2

                                                       CONTINUATION TO SEASON 1 EPISODE 15

nate, serena, blair, chuck, dan, ryan, aubrey , sydney & eric were all at the collins house getting ready to head to cassie's party. "well nate, you have permission to date my sister, but don't hurt her" ryan shook the archibald's hand, "and nate, you have my permission too" blair walked over to the boys, "why do i need your permission blair?" nate looked up, "to move on" blair smiled , "you cheated on me remember, with my best friend?" nate laughed. 

"guys we should get going!" aubrey grabbed her boyfriends hand.

the group fit themselves into 2 different cars. the first car had, nate, chuck, blair, aubrey and ryan, and the second had dan, serena, sydney, vanessa, & eric. car one was just aubrey and ryan talking because of the tension between blair, nate, and chuck. even though nate loved cassie, he was still pissed because his best friend slept with his girlfriend. car 2 was much more social.

both groups parked in the street near the gilmore house, and got out of the cars. "oh people must here already?" blair pointed towards the open door, "huh, i thought we would be the first ones here" nate questioned. "suprise!" the group went into the house only to find it trashed horribly.

"what the hell" serena said while the group looked around. "cassie?" aubrey yelled, "cassidy! this isn't funny!" nate ran around the house to look for her. the group found glass and blood everywhere. "oh my god" dan pushed his hair back. "cassie!" sydney screamed with eric comforting her. "guys what the hell is this?" blair pointed to the message on the wall, "calvin is dylan?" nate and aubrey read it at the same time, "oh my god, cassie!" nate ran out of the house, followed by the rest of the group. "someone call 911" eric yelled, "already called" serena bolted out the front door, "they are on their way"

"guys what is that?" vanessa pointed to a foot behind a nearby tree, "cassie" aubrey sobbed as serena hugged her. nate, blair, and ryan ran over to the foot only to see cassie's lifeless body lying there. 

blood was bleeding through the middle of her dress, her neck was pure red. her hair was matted, and her legs have been badly bruised. "oh my god" blair trembled. "ambulance is here guys" chuck ran over, "oh my" 

the group sat in silence in the hospital waiting room. everyone was still in shock from their best friend pretty much dying right now. no one had any clue on what happened, the only clue they had was cassie's message. they all think calvin was the cause of this.

"is there any family member of cassidy davis gilmore present right now?" the doctor asked the group, "um yeah, shes my sister" ryan said, standing up from his spot and following the doctor. "who would do this to her? aubrey asked quietly, she pressed her lips together and looked up to avoid crying. "i don't know" serena said with no emotion. blair and chuck noticed nate who had his head in his hands and was not speaking at all, "nate" blair softly called out. "nathaniel" chuck called out after. "not now, please" nate replied harshly. 

minutes later ryan finally returned. "what she say?" blair stood up. "scans show that cass was beaten until she was almost unconscious, and then she probably ran to get help" ryan took a pause, "then? how did she end up behind a tree?" nate question, "she ran to get help, and she was hit by a car" ryan sighed. "is she okay?" aubrey asked with pure worry. "shes alive, but not awake, we are allowed to go and see her, one by one" ryan said. "ry, your dad and my mom are waiting outside, they are asking for us to come meet them" sydney muttered. "ill be back soon" ryan whispered into his girlfriends ear, and kissed her. 

vanessa walked over to the brunette who was standing up very awkwardly. "sit down aubs" vanessa laughed quietly, "v, can you go in first and ill come in like 2 minutes?" aubrey whispered quietly, "of course, you want me to walk you in?" the tanned girl asked, "no just go in first please" aubrey said, as vanessa stood up, "thank you v" aubrey smiled, "any time aubrey, your one of my favorite people here" 

vanessa walked into cassie's hospital room. cassie was unconscious on the bed, she had a large bandage on the side of her head and a breathing machine on her mouth. the curly haired girl took a seat on the chair next to the unconscious girl's bed. "cassie i know we don't know each other well but, please wake up, aubrey really needs you, and so does everyone else. your the glue of the upper east side, it won't be the same without you, even if we use tape." vanessa squeezed the girls hand.

"cassie your my best friend, the closest thing i have to a sister. i need you so, don't go dying on me now, at least wait until i get married." aubrey let a few tears fall from her eyes. "i don't wanna have to say good bye to you cass, its like saying goodbye to half of me" aubrey looked at the empty room around her, and then to her best friend. 

"god cassie, your so selfish!" blair yelled at the sleeping girl, "how could you leave me at a time like this?" the brunette sat down on the chair. "you know, nate is totally in love with you, i know  you like him too" blair stood back up, "don't worry i'm not mad, i support you too, but i am so mad at you" blair paced, "if you leave me who the hell am i gonna watch gilmore girls with, and when rory is pissing me off?!" blair sat down again, "all you had to do was call my name" blair started to sing very quietly, "god you were supposed to sing the next line" 

"please wake up cassie" andrew gilmore stood beside his daughter's bed, "i wanted to tell you today that i was moving back to new york to be closer to you."  "i wanna improve our relationship cass, but for that you need to wake up.

"wake up cassie!" sydney yelled, "syd, calm down" eric whispered to his best friend, "jen's being a real bitch lately, and i really wanna tell my sister about all of this" sydney rolled her eyes, "cassie please fight, fight for me, for ryan, for blair, for aubrey, for serena, for nate! i really need my sister. i know its hard but please try" sydney cried.

"i wish i told you i love you sooner cassie" nate said, "a few months ago i swore i hated you but now, i'm totally head over heels for you, i'm crazy about you. your the first thought i have in the morning and my last before i fall asleep, so please wake up so i can tell you this to your gorgeous brown eyes" nate smiled "i even beat up calvin for you, hes never gonna hurt you again.

"what the hell happened?" cassie sat up from her hospital bed, "cassidy? your awake finally?"  the doctor smiled, "you were hit by a car, cassidy" " i was?" "yes you were, by your ex boyfriend, your okay, you just broke your leg and need to use crutches for a bit, ill get you ready to be discharged" the lady said as she walked out of the room. 

"woah, my back is killing me, what was i sleeping on?"
