gossip girl season three episode thirteen - the hurt locket
CASSIE AND CHARLOTTE SAT ON THE COUCH WORKING ON THEIR DELAYED WEDDING PLANNING.
"okay so what about these flowers" charlotte asked, as cassie leaned closer, "i can't see them" cassie said.
"cassie, you were prescribed glasses for a reason, use them please"
"they make me look weird" cassie whined as she put them on. "you don't look weird cass" charlie laughed.
"oh lottie! did i tell you that nate's coming home tomorrow?" the blonde jumped. "yes hon, you mention it every ten minutes" charlotte smiled.
"cass babe, i think your dad's at the door, can you grab it?" charlotte asked as cassie got up. "i can't grab the door lottie, but i can open it" cassie smiled as she opened the door.
"nate!" she gasped at the boy who was holding flowers. "hey" he pulled her in for a hug.
"char, we're going out" cassie said as she shut the door.
"i thought you were coming tomorrow" she kissed him. "my grandfather got sick of me texting you so he booked me an early flight" he said.
"you should have told me because i look terrible right now" she touched her dry hair. "you kinda do" he laughed and she hit his arm playfully.
"but you'll have a chance to look nice at the french ambassador dinner tomorrow" he said, "yes, and we're taking this slow right?" cassie asked,
"yes we are"
afterwards cassie and blair met up at a cafe to talk. "cassie pick a side! date nate or not!" blair told the girl.
"blair this time is different! we are taking it slow!" cassie said, "you guys need games! you need to make him wanting dinner or else he's gonna go somewhere else for it!"
"what the hell b! that's some of the worst advice I have ever heard" cassie made a face at the girl.
"cassie! snack alert behind you" blair whispered and cassie glared at her before turning around.
"damien dalgaard?!" cassie gasped, "cassidy davis?" he hugged the girl. "who is this?" blair asked.
"damien! our moms used to work together and he went to boarding school with serena" cassie stated.
"are you going to french ambassador dinner tomorrow?" cassie asked, "yes i am" he said, "great then i will see you there" cassie smiled before leaving.
the next day, cassie had received a phone call from nate to come over.
"cassie" nate smiled softly. "hey! what did you wanna talk about, let's make this quick because i gotta get ready for tonight."
"yeah about that, cassie, i feel like we are going way too fast, so i think you shouldn't come tonight" he stated. "where's this coming from?" cassie raised a brow. "nothing i was just thinking"
"really? cause i'm not sure it's working" cassie said before leaving.
thinking of what blair told her cassie decided to call damien to go with him to the gala.
"may I take your jacket?" damien asked. "of course" cassie smiled while looking around the gala.
"cassie" nate said from behind. "oh! nate, meet damien, our moms worked together" she introduced, "nice to meet you, nate, archibald" he stared.
"come on cassidy, i'll introduce you to a few people" the two walked off while nate rolled his eyes in jealously.
cassie headed upstairs to try and find a washroom when she felt someone pull her arm.
"oh my god" she gasped to only see nate archibald. "oh my god nate you scared me" she said. "why'd you bring him?" he asked, "you uninvited me nate!" cassie said sternly. "look i'm sorry, dan told me too and-"
"you listened to humphrey for advice?!" cassie gasped, "oh please, i know you listened to blair" he played. "how about we listen to ourselves and what works for us?" nate suggested.
"fine" she smirked. "alright lets get out of here" cassie grabbed his hand and walked away.
