CASSIE NERVOUSLY WALKED INTO A PRIVATE ROOM WHERE SHE WAS SUPOSSED TO TALK TO HER MOTHER'S AGENT.

she fidgeted with her fingers as lorelai sat down at the table in front of her. "good morning cassidy! how are you?" the woman asked, "good, you?" cassie replied, "great, so your here to see your mom today, right?" she asked as she flipped through the schedule. "mhm, and for some information" cassie nodded.

"alright so your mom has a tumor growing near her lung and its getting hard for her to breath and talk and complete everyday tasks. because of this, we had to put her on bedrest and remove her sentence since she won't be here for it" lorelai stated and cassie avoided eye contact. "i'm really sorry, would you like to go and see her?" the woman asked and cassie gave a hesitant nod.

cassie walked inside the hospital room and saw her mom lying on a bed, barely awake. her hair was turning grey and falling out and she looked weak.

"hey monica" cassie sat down on a chair next to the bed. "cassidy, how are you doing?" she asked. "good, how are you?" cassie asked, eyeing her condition. "tired. did you get married?" she asked and cassie nodded. "yeah, nate and i got married a few weeks ago" cassie said, playing with her ring. "congrats! how's your baby? when is she coming?" monica asked. "she's doing good, she's due in july" cassie said.

"i don't know if i'll be able to meet her" the woman stammered. "me neither" cassie said, not knowing if she should let monica meet her child.

"how's your music going?" she asked and the blonde took a breath. "going good, i've done a bunch of advertisements and i have my own perfume line, but i haven't been working lately since the doctor said its bad for me and the baby" cassie replied. "i always wanted you to go into law, it would have been better for you" monica rolled her eyes, and cassie felt herself tense up a bit. "well, music has become my passion" cassie stated.

"this is just a phase honey, its not too late to get a real job"  monica told her daughter who wasn't very fazed. "well its been good to see you, i have a doctor's appointment so i should go" cassie said quickly getting up.

cassie surprisingly wasn't lying, she did have a doctor's appointment.

the blonde laid on the table while she waited for her doctor to come back with her test results. she checked her phone and gasped when she saw the blair had texted her bart bass was alive this whole time and they were planning to get him out of hiding, oh how badly cassie wanted to be apart of it.

"hello miss gilmore, i'm doctor monroe, and i have your test results and they aren't exactly good" she shut the door. "what happened? is my baby going to be okay?" cassie panicked. "its not your baby that i'm too worried about its you" she responded and cassie furrowed her brows. "what are you talking about?" cassie asked.

"well your blood pressure's taken a huge spike and so has your heartrate, here are the rest of your stats. have you been working or putting yourself under stress?" the doctor asked, and cassie nodded. "yeah a tiny bit" she replied.

"well your going to have to go on complete bed rest until your due date, so things can look better. and i mean complete bed rest" she said as cassie sighed.

"but if you have intense pain, bleeding, sickness just come to the hospital immediately" the doctor stated, making it very clear.

later that day, aubrey had came over to the apartment to drink, and talk about her recent break-up.

"and then blake was like, we're getting really serious and i think i should tell you that i don't want kids. but like dude, we've been dating for a while maybe you should have told me that because i have a damn kid!" aubrey ranted as she poured herself  another glass of wine. "exactly, he was too good to be true, sorry aubs" cassie frowned.

"its alright since i think i may have feelings for someone else" aubrey took a sip of her drink while cassie spit out her iced tea. "what?!" she gasped as she thought, "its my brother isn't it" she shot her best friend a look as the brunette turned away. "he told me he loved me at your wedding but i said nothing" aubrey said as cassie spit out her drink once again. "come on collins!" cassie rolled her eyes as she walked over to the kitchen.

"okay i was dating someone at the time who was far away talking to my mother, and i was at my best friend's wedding!" aubrey continued ranting but cassie wasn't listening.

she felt super dizzy and was in so much pain. the blonde leaned onto the wall and took deep breaths but she felt as if she were about to collapse.

luckily her best friend noticed and came running up to her.

"cassie!" aubrey ran up to her side and saw the girl who was on the verge of tears. "talk to me whats wrong?" she asked in fear. "aubrey, i feel like i'm gonna die" cassie breathed as she slowly lost consciousness as aubrey panicked.
