                                                                        SEASON 1 EPISODE 10

cassidy and her best friend aubrey were sitting in the dressing room getting ready to work on their waltz dances for the deb ball. cassie was fixing her tank top and applying lip gloss, and aubrey was slick backing her hair. " i don't even know if i have a suitor to this thing, i may just not go" cassie closed her lip tube. "you are so going to this thing, who cares if you don't have a suitor?" aubrey forced her best friend to go, "you have a date aubrey" cassidy rolled her eyes. "yeah and it's your brother" aubrey smiled aggressively. "girls hurry up! it does not take that long to change, and oh cassidy, boy do i have a date for you" cece vanderwoodsen yelled.  

the girls walked into the instructing room laughing. aubrey ran up to her boyfriend and kissed him hello. "oh cassidy! come here, meet your new suitor" serena's grandmother called the blonde over, "cassidy this is calvin brooks!" "cassie?" calvin waved, "oh hey calvin!" cassie hugged him. "alright you two, head to your spots, lets rehearse"

the dance was going surprisingly very well, even though dan humphrey  was an outsider he was keeping up amazingly. finally calvin was supposed to be turning cassie over to nate and  receiving blair, cassidy tripped over his shoe. "ow damn it!" cassie yelled in pain. "cassie!" blair put her hand on the blonde's shoulder. "my ankle! nate was about to pick cassie up, when calvin yanked her ankle into his direction, and lifted her up. 

later that day cassie was resting on her couch studying in advance for her SATS, when her phone ending up ringing. "hey this is cassidy, whats up?" cassie spoke into the phone, "hey cass its me, how's your ankle doing?" nate asked. "it hurts so bad, and i have no painkillers" cassie whined. "try taking an advil, that will help" the archibald got into his car, "i just said i had none nate" cassie laughed. "ugh i am craving onion rings right now" cassie whined again, "go to sleep cassie, bye" nate hung up the phone.

10 minutes later cassie's phone dinged again, it was her stalker of course they couldn't go a day without texting her. "yikes cass, bad fall?" cassie smacked her phone down and shut her eyes. she was awoken by her doorbell ringing, "what?" the girl said, it was very obvious she was grumpy. "that's not nice to say to someone who brought you onion rings" the archibald spoke. "aww thank you archie!" the now cheery blonde hugged him, "i also got you pain killers, take one every hour" nate handed the stuff to the girl. "see you tonight cassie" nate smiled and walked off.

hours passed and it was time for the opening statements at the ball. it was aubrey's turn to go up and cassie was still giggling from serena changing up her statement last minute. "now presenting aubrey collins, daughter of isabelle & thomas collins" the announcer said. cassie looked at anne looking at aubrey with pure love in her eyes, wishing her mom was like that with her. "now presenting, cassidy clara-jane davis gilmore, daughter of monica davis & andrew gilmore" cassie and calvin took a step forward, "cassidy hopes to go to new york university, and become a government lawyer, and her suitor is calvin brooks." cassie looked for her mom only to see her talking to someone from work on the phone.

"you look beautiful cassie" calvin said while waiting for the music for the waltz dance to play. soon enough the dance started and it was going perfectly. "hello archibald" the gilmore girl turned into his arms, "gilmore girl, you see baizen over there?" nate looked very serious, "yeah  i heard hes back" cassie whispered, "he keeps eyeing blair lovingly, do something about it" chuck whispered into the man's ear, "nate no" cassie whisper yelled. nate let go of cassie and started beating up carter. "nate!" cassie started yelling at him. the whole crowd was in shock, "that son of a bitch" calvin grabbed cassie's waist, "cal, shut up please." cassie ran over to blair who was practically sobbing, "shh, b it's gonna be okay!" cassie hugged the girl.
