CASSIDY and blair sat at their usual table talking about the upcoming snowflake ball.
"B! i have other things to do today!" cassie told the girl. "cassie, this is THE holiday event for high school seniors, the creme de la creme from all the big private schools will be there, i need a ringer!" blair said handing cassie some papers.
"have all these guys asked you? cassie asked. "of course, you like angelina jolie considers a project without an offer first"
"just out of curiosity, whos in the lead to play guy with no future?" chuck asks from behind blair. "what makes you think i'm not looking for something long term?" blair asks proudly. "call it a hunch" chuck leans in closer to blair.
"cass, how would you like to be my date to the snowflake ball?" chuck asks and blair turns to cassie.
"nice try bass but i'm going with your best friend, and if i weren't, no offense i'd rather die" cassie joked and got up to leave because she couldn't stand to be around those lovebirds for another second.
cassie was walking out of the school building when she felt someone pulling her arm. she looked behind her to see nate.
he pulled her in by the waist for a kiss. "hey you!" cassie said after pulling away. "i can't wait to see you at the dance tonight" nate said. "me too! oh i have to go meet up with josie, ill see you tonight though!" cassie gave him a peck on the lips before leaving.
cassie hurried into josie's recording studio and took a seat next the the brunette. "hey josie sorry i was late!" cassie apologized. "its okay don't worry about it!"
"okay so i was thinking we can start recording a bit today just to get the hang of it" josie said and cassie nodded. "alright let me pull up the beat, so just to make sure you made the beat on your own right?" the brunette asked while typing on her computer.
"yeah, i actually used a beat i made in 7th grade for a music assignment and added stuff to it" cassie laughed. "that's so cool!" josie put her headphones on. "alright get in there! and maybe try to fiddle with different volumes of your voice and stuff like that, kay?"
cassie stepped into the mic and put her headphones on. the beat started to play and josie smiled sweetly at her.
once cassie finished singing she stepped out of the booth and josie turned to her. "okay that was really good, but try to experiment more, don't play it safe" josie told her. "yeah yeah got it, oh damn i really got to go, i have my winter dance tonight!" cassie looked at her watch.
"bye josie thank you!" cassie said heading out. "show me pictures next time i see you!" josie yelled to her.
cassie was supposed to head over to aubrey and ryan's place to get ready with the rest of her friends. "hi hi sorry i'm late!" cassie said shutting the door.
blair, sydney, aubrey and serena all said hi to her than got back to what they were doing. blair was in front of of the mirror applying her mascara. serena was brushing her hair. sydney was painting aubrey's toes.
"so serena, i heard aaron's ex is going with dan tonight, how do you feel?" cassie asked standing behind a curtain putting her dress on. "i can not stand her but aaron gave me the green light for tonight!" serena smiled and the rest of the girls congratulated her. "wait what?" cassie stepped in front of the curtain. "he gave you a traffic light, isn't that a little weird s?" cassie asked in pure confusion. the rest of the girls started to laugh and sydney stepped closer to her sister. "cassie, they are going to have sex tonight!" sydney told her sister. "oh ew" cassie gagged.
"do not gag cassie you and nate have done it plenty of times, once on my mothers perfect couch and even worse dorota caught you!" blair yelled and all of the girls laughed. "sorry about that b" cassie giggled.
"so sydney do you have any boy in mind?" aubrey asked which sydney gagged. "ew no" she rolled her eyes, "or a particular girl?" cassie teased and sydney blushed. "oo whos the lucky girl?" blair asked. "jenny humphrey" syd blushed. "ew" blair got up, "but i'm happy for you syd" blair pat the girls head.
"i want to ask jenny out so badly but shes so obsessed with this guy jackson forbes" sydney groaned. "don't stress too much sydney there's a chance she might like girls" serena patted the girls shoulder. "yeah and i'm pretty sure jackson is going with v tonight" aubrey looked out the window.
"limos here guys!" aubrey told her friends and they all headed out the door.
the girls entered the dance looking absolutely gorgeous. "i need to go find chuck's doppelganger i'll see you guys later" blair said walking away. "aaron!" serena waved to him and walked away.
"you girls looked amazing!" eric said walking up to the girls. "thank you e!" aubrey and cassie said at the same time. "sydney you look beautiful, i like this side of you" jenny complimented.
cassie and aubrey spotted their boyfriends and walked up to them.
"aubrey you look like a godess" ryan said as he pulled her close. "um what about me?!" cassie argued. "you look like mom cassie" ryan smiled aggressively as he and aubrey walked away.
"you looked absolutely magnificent cassidy davis gilmore" nate told her as he pulled her onto the dance floor. "you don't look to bad yourself nate archibald" cassie winked.
the couples danced and drank for a while were enjoying themselves. soon cassie and nate took a break and walked over to where aubrey, ryan, eric and sydney were.
"why are you lips dark?" cassie said as she stumbled into aubrey, "woah there cass" aubrey laughed as she held her best friend. "how drunk is she archibald?" sydney asked with concern. " a lot" nate said as he struggled to keep her standing. "did you guys know i'm a princess" cassie giggled as she leaned onto nate. "the princess of whales?" ryan joked and aubrey slapped him in the arm.
suddenly the lights dimmed and the rest of the kids at the dance started making noises. "whats going on?" aubrey asked as she tried to look.
"oh my god" sydney and eric said as they looked at vanessa's see through dress, and then jenny nearby. vanessa ran out sobbing and sydney and eric walked towards jenny. "i gotta go" aubrey said as she chugged her drink and ran after vanessa.
