"UGH WHAT IS THAT?" cassie groaned, hearing that loud noise. "oh sorry, that was my alarm" dan sat up next to his girlfriend.
"what time is it?" cassie asked and dan checked his phone, "10:40, oh crap i have to leave soon, i'm gonna be late for my internship" he said, heading to the washroom to brush his teeth.
"what are you up to today?" he asked as she made the bed. "um, josie said she has a project for me so i have to go meet her" cassie told the humphrey. "thats nice, getting back into work." he smiled.
"please tell me you have coffee" he pleaded, and she laughed, "yeah i brewed some yesterday, now i'm gonna shower" she headed into the washroom. "i have to head home to change, so i will see you later" he kissed her on the cheek, "bye humphrey" she smiled before closing the washroom door.
cassie walked into joesphine's studio to go meet her. "hi josie!" cassie hugged the woman, "hey cassie" she smiled softly.
cassidy could see in the woman's eyes she wasn't her usual self. she wasn't smiley or had that bubbly aspect of herself she usually did. her eyes looked like she was crying aswell.
"how are you?" cassie asked noticing her frown, "i'm okay, you?" josie answered. "i'm fine"
"what'd you wanna talk about?" cassie asked as the two sat down. "okay so, i got an offer from an actor to work with you on an album, particularly a love album" josie said.
"which actor?" cassie asked. "they are actually outside right now, ready for you to go to lunch" josie winked as she pulled the gilmore out the door. "josie! josie!" cassie raised her voice.
"cassidy, meet nathan evans and his client, james westwood"
"oh my god" cassie laughed and so did james. "hey cassidy"
"we will let you both get to lunch, so get into the limo, bye bye!" josie pushed the two into a car.
once the two reached the restaurant and got to their table, there was an awkward silence.
"thank you, for supporting me and letting me stay at your place" cassie spoke up. "of course it really is no problem" james smiled. "how are you doing?" he asked.
"i mean i've stayed sober for almost a month now" cassie chuckled, "thats amazing cassidy" the blonde boy laughed. "yeah my boyfriend helped me a lot" she paused, "and you can call me cassie, since we will be seeing a lot of eachother"
"alright then and you can call me james" the two laughed. "wait i have to ask. you were in all of the silence of the space movies" cassie said but james interrupted. "you know?"
"of course i know! my ex, my brother, my sister, my parents, they love your movies, they are obsessed!" cassie stated, "the reason i didn't remember you was because i am kind of slow-" "you were so drunk" he burst into laughter, "no way, was i that bad?" cassie asked, now erupting into laughter as he nodded.
"whatever! back to what i was saying, why are you starting to become a singer?" cassie asked. "i don't know, i guess i always loved it and to work with you its such a huge opportunity" he said.
once cassie got home, she found dan waiting for her already. "cassie" dan said and she looked up at him. "oh hey" she smiled. "you lied to me" he stated. "what? what are you talking about?" she asked.
"you went to lunch with james" he yelled and she walked closer to him. "i can't believe this!" he yelled again. "dan, dan, i have a business deal with him! stop! let me explain!" she argued.
"me and him are working on an album together!" she stated and dan pressed his lips together. "oh"
"we just went for lunch to talk about things and get to know eachother, and how'd you find out anyway?" cassie asked. "gossip girl" he said.
"oh god, i'll send a tip that its fake and that were together" she groaned as she got out her phone. "how was your day though?"
"horrible. i think i screwed up." dan paused. "blair was there too. and i messed up the internship for her and we got into a brawl too" he finished and cassie audibly gasped. "daniel humphrey! you got into a fight with my best friend?!" she yelled. "go apologize right now!" she yelled. "but-"
"i don't wanna hear no buts, go apologize or i'll make you" she grabbed him and escorted him outside.
"my goodness" she rolled her eyes, heading over to the living room.
