TONIGHT was lily and bart's housewarming party so cassie, blair, sydney and serena were sitting in a cafe to meet eric's new boyfriend before the party.
"so serena, what did lily say about last night curfew misbehavior?" cassie asked the blonde. "i snuck out before she could corner me" serena responded. "woah ms vanderwoodsen teach me your ways please!" sydney laughed. "no" cassie laughed slapping her sisters arm.
"let them discipline the sibling who actually needs it" serena remarked. "you mean chuck?" blair chimes in trying to hide your obvious smile. the other three girls looked at blair, "what?" the waldorf asks. "you smiled" serena said taking a sip of her iced tea.
"no i didn't i hate chuck! don't make me lose my appetite." blair yelled. "she never said you were smiling about chuck b" cassie teased the already pissed off girl. "whatever! there's eric!" blair denied.
"eric!" sydney said getting up to greet her best friend, "hey syd!" eric hugged the girl.
"guys this is jonathan" eric paused, "my boyfriend" cassie and blair's faces instantly lit up with joy. "jonathan this is my sister serena and her best friends cassie and blair, and this is my bestfriend sydney!" eric introduced.
"damn e nice work!" cassie smiled. "hi its so nice to meet you! sit down!" serena said hugging jonathan. "its so nice to meet you guys aswell. i actually met chuck the other day" jonathan said.
"chuck wow! hear that blair?" cassie smiled nudging her friend. blair gave her friend an annoyed look, "ignore her shes high" "did we miss something?" eric asked, "no but we did, the story on how you two met go!" sydney smiled.
a few hours later cassie and sydney were at the gilmore household hanging out before they have to get ready for the party.
cassie heard a knock at the door so she ran over to open it only to see her mother.
cassidy davis gilmore and monica davis had never had much of a good relationship. monica had always favored ryan for some reason and had always something to say about cassie. not to mention she was very childish and always needed to get her way and when things didn't go her way she would run away.
starting from when the twins were 12 years old she would go on business trips for days at a time, and since cassie was the more responsible twin she took care of all the house work, homework help, cooking etc. her longest being 3 and a half months.
but even before she started going on business trips she would work or go out from 9-7 and when she came back she refused to do anything around the house so cassie again was responsible because ryan didn't want to do anything and monica was always on his side.
"mom? what are you doing here?" cassie asked, "well cassidy, i live here now its cold out here let me in!" monica davis shoved through.
"mom?" sydney jumped up, "i thought you were on another work trip"
"i had to cut it short and i will be not going on another one for the next few months" monica said pouring a cup of coffee for herself. "why?" cassie asked in concern and annoyance that her deadbeat mother would be in her space.
"because i am pregnant and to start resting" monica smiled. "what?!" cassie and sydney both yelled. "how the hell did you get pregnant mom?!" cassie was furious.
"i had a one night stand with someone on my trip and he refuses to help with the baby so i will need my kids help" monica said starting to cry. "oh mom of course we will help? right cassie?" sydney said walking over to her mom.
"i won't help" cassie blurted out which made monica and sydney look at her. "you were never there to help me during my hard times so why should i help you?" cassie asked angrily. "i tried too cass" monica whimpered. "you never tried" cassie said storming out of the house.
cassie stormed into the vanderwoodsen house attempting to find her brother to inform him on the latest scandal their mother has created.
"ryan!" cassie slightly yelled at her brother and his girlfriend, "we need to talk!" cassie said. "oh there's vanessa i'm gonna go say hi" aubrey smiled before leaving.
"what is it cassie?" ryan asked with concern in his face. "moms pregnant" cassie said pressing her lips together. "what?! how could someone want to bang her?!" ryan asked in utter shock. "i know!" cassie laughed, "and you know she wants us to help with the baby!" cassie laughed even harder. "there's no way in hell i'm helping with that baby" ryan chuckled before looking over to the front hallway.
"oh god shes here" ryan whispered to his twin sister. "oh ryan my sweet baby boy!" monica cheered as she squeezed ryan. "mummy really misses you, why don't you move back home?" she pinched his cheeks. "i'm okay mom thanks, congrats on the baby" ryan said sarcastically. "aw thanks sweetie, see cassandra why can't you be more like him?" monica said looking in ryan's direction.
"its lily and bart lets go say hi!" monica gestured the twins to follow. "lily! its so good to see you!" monica said from behind the bass woman. "oh my monica!" lily stammered as she hugged the woman with a shocked expression on her face.
lily vanderwoodsen was also not so fond of monica davis either, because she could not stand how childish and annoying monica is. and because monica is never there for her kids.
"congrats on your marriage! and i have something you both would want to know!" the davis woman smiled. "mom please don't this event isn't about you" cassie whispered but monica ignored her.
"i'm pregnant!" monica proudly announced. "wow congratulations ms.davis!" serena said greeting the woman with a hug.
"thank you honey! serena you look wonderful, cassidy darling you should take a bunch of tips!" monica remarked but everyone was in shock of what she just said. cassie just looked down at the floor awkwardly.
"ms.davis i should be the one taking notes" serena laughed and cassie smiled at her.
"i'm gonna go" cassie whispered into her twin brothers ear, "ill follow you" he whispered back. suddenly sydney appeared behind the two. "i have a few cigarettes, wanna smoke a few joints?" she asked.
the twins agreed and the 3 siblings left the party.
