CASSIE AND JOSIE sat at the studio desk working on cassie's upcoming album. "okay so we have 2 songs done and around 10 more to go?" josie turned to the girl. "i think so" cassie laid her head back.
"do you want a toaster strudel?" josie smiled, "a what?" cassie blinked. "a toaster strudel!" she jumped up and headed to the kitchen and cassie followed. "its a toaster pastery"
"tripp's election is tonight, lets see if there's anything on the news" cassie leaned over the counter and turned on the news.
"breaking news! tripp vanderbilt saved a man from drowning, oops have gone up!" the news reporter said as cassie choked on her toaster strudel. "cassie! it's hot your not supposed to eat it yet!" josie told the girl.
"tripp just saved a man from drowning" cassie gasped, "damn, y'know your friend dan humphrey, everyone's calling him bathroom boy" josie ate her toaster strudel.
"i should go to the vanderbilts, bye josie!" cassie headed out the door.
a few hours later cassie arrived at the vanderbilt party. she spotted nate and tripp.
"wow nice save congressman" she winked. "thanks cassie" he chuckled. "i'm gonna go see maureen" tripp pat nate on the back before leaving.
"why the frown nate?" cassie mocked. "it was a set up" he glanced at cassie, "what?" she raised a brow. "someone set this up, and vanessa caught the footage but i stole the tape from her"
"oh my god, who did this?" cassie asked, "i-i don't know" he said. "did you?" she asked. "nate this isn't the the way to win, it's not honest and not like you" cassie said, "i didn't do it cass!" he told the girl, but she left.
cassie headed down to the main party and saw her brother talking to serena.
the girl was looking around the party and bumped into aubrey. "sorry" she told the girl. cassie on the other hand was looking at blair's friend brandeis being escorted out. "watch it next time" she told the blonde before walking away to blair who was nearby.
"hey b, your friend brandeis was just escorted out, i'm pretty sure she's a prositute" cassie laughed.
"she's not serena's just spreading a lie, i just fought with her over that" blair said. "b, she is, I overheard her talking about it" cassie said."why are helping serena create lies about my life! what did i ever do to you?!" blair yelled.
"blair i just want the best for you, and it's true we aren't lying" cassie fought back, "ever since sydney died you've changed" blair yelled and chuck came up to the girl, "blair don't talk about her" cassie fought back. "no it's true"
blair started walking away but cassie pushed her into the cake in front of her, "take that" she grinned and walked away.
she was leaving the party when nate came on the stage. "hey everyone i know you have heard that the saving the drowning man was a set up" nate said.
cassie had fought with blair so much that she hadn't even heard about the drama.
"but I know he's a very honest and still a hero, I know that because i'm the one that set it up." nate said and everyone gasped.
afterwards cassie had found the guy sitting alone, and walked up to him. "i'm sorry about being a bitch to you earlier" she sat next to him,
"it's fine" he smiled softly at her. "what you did took guts, real guts" she told him and he laughed.
"I saw you push blair into a cake" he looked at the girl, "that was real badass" he told her, "I know" she winked, and tripp started coming closer. "i'm gonna head to the bar" she got up and walked to the bar.
the girl sat alone for a good hour then tripp joined her, "may i sit?" he asked, "sure" she smiled.
