SINCE JAMES AND CASSIE'S ENGAGEMENT WAS TELEVISIED AND JAMES KEPT IT A SECRET, CASSIE HAD PLANS TO VISIT EVERYONE TO TALK ABOUT IT.
cassie's first stop was to meet with james's parents, anastasia halton, who is a famous actress, and florian westwood who is a famous director and screenwriter.
"so cassidy, jamie, me and florian love you both so much, that we want to pay for your entire wedding, and help plan it!" anastasia smiled, "that is if you'll let us" florian added and before cassie could speak, james spoke up. "of course! thank you guys so much!" james hugged his parents, "anything for my baby!" anastasia exclaimed.
"mrs.halton, mr.westwood, thank you both so much! you don't have to do this" cassie hugged the two. "i've been planning my wedding since i was like six, so i have so many ideas too" cassie smiled. "and thats lovely! but since we are such high-class, i think a mature wedding would be best, right jamie?" the woman asked, completely ignoring cassie.
"yeah i agree, my mom plans the best weddings cass, she does this all the time. we should let her plan it" james looked over at his fiancée who was not very happy but shoved it all down. "yeah, yeah, i could help like, picking out my bridesmaids and my wedding dress" cassie tried to be compassionate but another idea popped into anastasia's head.
but before she could say it a knock happened at the door. "maid, grab the door" james told the maid and cassie was suprised by him not even knowing her name.
a tall brunette came into the living room area where everyone was sitting. she had long shiny, wavy, brown hair, that was half way to her waist. she had olive green eyes and she was absolutely gorgeous and cassie instantly knew who she was. aurora lynn aves.
"stacey! flounder!" she smiled and they practically jumped up to hug her, all they did was shake cassie's hand. "my beautiful rory! i love your bangs!" anastasia complimented. "thanks!" aurora replied.
james was in shock, he never expected to see her ever again. "james?" cassie asked trying to make sure he was okay, "james" she shook him. "jj" aurora smiled softly at him and he hugged her. "rory, how are you?" he asked.
"good! and you must be cassidy" she smiled looking at the blonde. "oh rory, this is um, cassidy" james introduced the blonde. "oh yes! this is cassidy, james's fiancée" florian smiled.
"oh rory, for cassidy's wedding dress, shouldn't she wear mine?" stacey asked and aurora instantly agreed, "yes! let's go try her on" she grabbed cassie's hand. "i would but we should head to my dad's, cassie looked over at james who was still looking at aurora. "you should go alone cass, i'm gonna bond with rory" he told the blonde and she nodded nervously as she headed out the door.
cassie drove to her father's house trying to forget about aurora and all all of what happened.
"cassie!" charlotte smiled as she hugged the girl. "lottie!" cassie squeezed the woman. she walked with charlotte over to the living room area where andrew, ryan, aubrey, and asher were sitting.
"congratulations honey" andrew hugged his daughter. "thanks dad" she smiled as aubrey jumped onto her. "oh geez thats a rock alright" the blonde said as she admired her best friend's hand. "look asher, somebody actually wants to marry aunt cassie" ryan brought the baby over to where cassie and aubrey were sitting.
"hey" andrew raised a brow at the older twin's behavior, "ant cashey" asher babbled as cassie picked him up. "yes ant cashey" cassie smiled. "so wheres the fiancée?" charlotte asked, setting down the casserole she made. "he had a family thing" cassie pressed her lips together.
"when's the wedding?" andrew asked, coming to sit down with the family. "his parents want to plan the wedding and they actually already started. they are saying 6 weeks" cassie closed her eyes. "six weeks?!" the group yelled. "well i better be your maid of honor" aubrey smiled and cassie nodded, "of course"
cassie's phone began to rang uncontrollably so she was forced to pick it up. "hello?" she furrowed her brows. "cassie its dan, blair's bulimic again" he said on the phone, "oh god, send the address, i'll be there in under 10" cassie stated before hanging up.
cassie rushed into the bathroom blair was in and saw dan talking to blair who was surprisingly very calm. "blair? what's going on?" cassie asked. "she's bulimic again" dan told the girl.
"no, i am not, i just wasn't feeling well" blair avoided eye contact. "yeah right, eating disorders can return when people are stressed" cassie stated. "the only thing stressing me out is louis sister might notice i'm gone, get suspicious"
"why would you be stressed about louis's sister being suspicious if you aren't bulimic?" cassie asked, "this isn't a joke. we aren't leaving until you agree to get help" dan said, "i'm not bulimic, i'm pregnant!" blair raised her voice and walked over to cassie.
"i'm so sorry, i was so scared to tell you because i was scared you would be mad-" blair said unknowingly that beatrice was behind her. "you have nothing to be sorry for blair, congratulations!" cassie hugged the girl, trying to hide her own tears.
cassie was at a nearby park trying to collect herself when she heard someone call her. "cassie?" nate said, walking up to the girl but she didn't turn around. "cass? you okay?" he saw the girl's red face.
"how can life be so unfair? how can people get pregnant without trying and i have to try for months?" she sobbed as nate grabbed her shoulders. "how come they get the luxury of seeing a positive and not worry about the worst outcomes, like feeling your baby die?!" she croaked as nate pulled her in for a hug.
"deep breaths" he ran a finger through her hair as she tried to breathe. "in and out" he whispered. "life can be so unexpected sometimes, it can give you the best things or the worst. it wasn't your fault at all cassie, please know that." he told the girl.
"you wanna go for a walk?" he asked and she nodded, "sure" she sniffled.
