IT HAD BEEN A FEW DAYS SINCE CASSIE AND NATE HAD RETURNED FROM THEIR TRIP AND THEY HAD BEEN KEEPING THERE ENGAGEMENT A SECRET BUT HAD PLANS TO START TELLING PEOPLE.
the only person who knew was chuck bass mainly because cassie had been staying in their shared apartment.
"so what have you got planned today?" cassie asked, watching nate adjust his shirt "um just need to head over to the spectator and my grandfather's coming in. you?" he asked throwing his tie back into the closet.
"i have to meet serena and aubrey to plan blair's bridal shower, and can i tell them?" she pleaded with a smile. "okay but come by the spectator so we can tell my grandfather" he wrapped an arm around her as they headed out of the room. "it feels good to finally be able to wear my ring out" she smiled putting her hand out as they stepped into the elevator.
"do you need it resized or anything?" nate asked, "nope. its perfect just like me" she winked, and nate gave her a look, "are you sure about that last part?" he joked and she crossed her arms, "excuse you"
"i'm kidding, i got to go though." he pulled her in for a hug. "aw" cassie frowned, "i love you" he pulled away from the hug and started to back away, "i love you too" she smiled back at him.
cassie knocked on the door of aubrey's place where she was supposed to be meeting her and serena. but ryan ended up opening the door. "well hello my twin sister" he messed up her hair. "hands off the hair honey" she flicked his hand off, then stepped inside.
"cassie!" aubrey and serena exclaimed. "woah thats a lot of gift bags" cassie said, prepared to show everyone the ring . "well i was just about to head out and let you guys have your girl time or whatever" ryan opened the door, "oh wait!" cassie stopped him.
"do you guys like my ring?" she smiled, pulling her hand out of her purse while the three came closer to look at it. "is that what i think it is?" serena placed her hand over her mouth and cassie nodded as the other two girls gasped and jumped with excitement. "i am still so confused" ryan furrowed his brows.
"you stupid. nate asked cassie to marry him!" aubrey put a hand on the older twin's shoulder. "cassie congratulations! we've all been waiting on you two" serena pulled the girl in for a hug. "your gonna make me cry" aubrey tightly hugged the girl.
"no way. congrats cass! i've got to go call nate and scold him from keeping it a secret from me, and for wanting to marry you" he joked as he exited the door.
"alright lets get to planning!" cassie pressed her hands together.
cassie and the girls had gotten a lot done but she was supposed to be heading over to the spectator to meet nate.
