IT HAD BEEN ALMOST A YEAR SINCE THE UPPER EAST SIDE HAD LAST SEEN DYLAN TRAVIS. nate had beat him up at the hospital of the car accident, and he wasn't seen ever again, but what if he made a final return?
cassie was invited to tripp and maureen's wedding, along with nate, blair and ryan. she headed downstairs in her dark sage green, diamond dress with her freshly curled hair. she spotted charlotte who was wedding planning with the help of sydney who was cuddled up with her girlfriend jenny.
"you look nice" charlie complimented, "thank you charlie! wedding planning?" cassie asked looking at the flowers and cake on the table. "yep, wanna help?" syd asked, "can't i have to meet josie to listen to the song we finished, and then i have to go to maureen and tripp's wedding but save me some cake though" cassie said before leaving.
cassie walked over to josie's place which wasn't that far from her house. over the past month and a half cassie and josie had worked together to turn cassie's song into a professional record and were supposed to meet up to launch the single. she stood in front of josies place but was interrupted when she felt something at the back of her head.
joesphine had been waiting for cassie for the past hour and a half, the brunette paced around her apartment. soon her phone rang, "hey thanks for calling j walker records, joesphine speaking!" she enthusiastically said. "hey its nate archibald, cassie's boyfriend, she was supposed to be at an event with me, did you guys get held up?" nate asked. "sorry nate, cassie didn't even show up." josie said. "oh thats weird but thanks" nate awkwardly blurted.
nate had hung up the call, very concerned on where his girlfriend is. "blair, ryan?" nate called out to the pair who were tasting the wedding cake. "do you guys know where cassie is?" nate asked. "nope" blair responded shoving a bunch of cake into ryan's mouth.
cassie was about to head into the studio but felt something at the back of her head. "get in the car now" a mans voice was heard. "or i shoot" the blonde turned around to see who the man was.
"dylan?" cassie stammered. "i'm back baby" he winked. "now get in the car" he threatened to pull the trigger. cassie slipped off her heels prepared to run. "i wouldn't run if i were you cassidy, i've got a gun babe" he followed her into the car with the gun.
cassie was clearly very threatened by him so she got into the car barefoot. "can you pass my jimmy choo's at least? they were hella expensive" cassie asked with attitude and dylan threw them at her.
the car started to drive and cassie leaned down pretending to put her shoes on, and grabbed her phone from her purse and stuffed it in her dress. "bag upfront" he told her as she threw the bag.
cassie didn't show it but she was scared for her life and getting flashbacks of all the things he did to her. once the car reached his place, he pointed the gun at her and told her to get out.
"i'm proud of you cassie, you finally didn't cry" he smiled. cassie took heavy deep breaths as the world became foggy around her. she managed to catch the address before she was forced inside a small room.
she sat down on the cold hard floor, as tears started to pour down her cheeks. "dylan, i don't understand, why are you doing this to me?" cassie choked on her tears. "because i love you cassie, and you didn't love me back" he said innocently.
"I'm sorry we aren't compatible dylan, you can find better than me" cassie choked.
"what do you mean by we aren't compatible?" he started getting after, cassie tried to speak but he shushed her. "maybe this will teach you a bit of a lesson" he picked up the hose and sprayed her with semi-hot water.
cassie shrieked in pain as she cried. "please please stop" she cried. "i'm sorry dylan, i'm sorry" she sobbed.
"I'm sorry cassie" he said and left the room.
cassie had forgotten she brought her phone so she quickly attempted to call 911 on it but dylan walked in on her.
he grabbed her and pinned her against the wall and held his gun near her hands. cassie decided to retailiate and grabbed the gun from his hands and pushed him on the ground.
the blonde tried to figure out how to scare him when she accidentally shot him in the neck. "holy shit!" the girl sobbed. "shit shit what did i do" she cried.
cassie heard police sirens and made her way to the front door. "cassie!" nate shouted from outside. hearing his voice cassie ran outside into his arms.
nate, ryan and blair stood by the archibald's car as police officers stormed into the house.
her father gave her a quick hug and ran in with them.
"nate!" cassie sobbed. "hey hey your okay now, your okay cassie" nate hugged her, tears coming out of his eyes.
"your safe now cass" he comforted her as she sobbed.
officers had came outside of the house to question cassie and to grab medical tools. "I killed him" cassie wheezed. "cassie this is none of your fault" nate pressed a kiss on top of her head.
"blair can you hold her for a minute, ill be back" nate said running into the house.
"blair, he's dead" cassie sobbed. "i know cass, he's gone your okay" blair squeezed the girl. "blair her skin is red and hot as hell, and her leg is bleeding" ryan alerted the girl. "cass why is your skin red?" ryan asked the sobbing girl.
"he- he p-p-poured water all o-over me" she hyperventilated. "can we get someone to help her?" blair yelled at the cops.
cassie saw sydney from afar who was bawling her eyes out and jenny who was comforting her. she saw charlie yelling at cops and serena and chuck who were rushing over.
"cassie!" serena called out, and hugged the girl. "cassie oh my god" serena picked the helpless girl up while chuck told nurses to grab her into the ambulance.
"nate" cassie shivered, "he's inside!" she yelled. "cass, it's nate archibald he's fine, he's with your dad" chuck rubbed her back.
ryan covered his sister's eyes as andrew gilmore rolled out dylan's dead body with nate coming out to comfort his girlfriend.
"is he dead" cassie straight up asked. "yes i'm so sorry baby" he hugged her. "it's all my fault, he was right it's all my fault" she sobbed.
