"i think i'm your sister"

cassie took a look at the girl in front of her claiming to be her sister. she was a bit shorter than cassie, had the exact same golden blonde hair, she also had her mothers eyes. she was wearing baby blue colored jean shorts with an oversized hockey jersey that had the name "moore" on it.  cassie looked back at her friends and brother and the room was silent. 

"listen if this is just some dumb joke, its not funny" the older girl was about to close the door, "your mom is monica davis, correct?" the girl pushed it back open, "yeah, she is" ryan came closer to the door. "my name is sydney moore, and i'm sure i'm your half sister" sydney spoke up. 

"i think its time for us to go, come on chuck" nate dragged chuck out of the house, "see you soon gorgeous" chuck waved to the younger girl at the door, "bye guys, it was really good to meet the famous davis-gilmore siblings." dan left the house, following serena and blair, "we so need to meet you soon, when the drama is sorted out" serena touched the girls arm. "oh definitely, i need to meet my sisters sister" aubrey came and gave her best friend a hug, "bye ryan" she left through the door.  

"its been a long day, you can stay here tonight and we can talk in the morning" ryan shut the door, " you do have clothes right?" cassie asked, "yeah i do, i came here from the airport" sydney chuckled. 

the next day cassie and ryan were sitting on the couch waiting for their so called "half sister" to wake up. ryan decided to invite aubrey over, and cassidy didn't wanna third wheel so she forced herself to invite nate. aubrey and ryan were getting quite close, while cassie and nate were switching back and forth from arguing and shipping their two friends. 

"morning" sydney walked up to the group, "sydney! good morning sit!" aubrey smiled at the girl. "so last night, you said you were mine and ryan's half sister, care to elaborate?" cassie asked the girl. "what were you lying?" ryan questioned. "i'm 15, i'm two years younger than the two of you." sydney said, while the others nodded, " when i was born, your parents were finishing up their divorce. "and do you guys know why they divorced?" she asked her siblings, cassie and ryan glanced at each other, "go on" cassie told the girl. "because my dad and your mum were having an affair which started before you guys were born." the moore spit out. "what?!" cassie and her brother were both shocked, as well as aubrey and nate. "so when your dad found out about the affair he divorced your mom, and when i was born your mum left me with my dad and never spoke to us again." sydney looked down, "oh god, wait who is your dad anyway?" ryan asked. 

"his name was james moore, heres some pictures of him and your mom together, from before the divorce to when i was born." she handed the photos over. "wait sydney what do you mean by "was"? cassie was curious. "he sadly passed 5 years ago" sydney started to cry, "oh god i'm so sorry syd" nate tried to show sympathy for the girl. "its kind of why i'm here, i want to find some of my biological family since my dad is gone" syd whispered the last part. 

cassie really did feel some sympathy for the girl so she came up with an idea. "you know what? your not gonna be lonely anymore!" cassie threw her arms around her sister, "your gonna be staying with us, and go to school at constance, and you and i, were gonna be the best sisters ever!"  cassie was so excited since she has always wanted a sister.  

"sydney you should leave while you can, cassidy is a nightmare to be around" nate whispered, "when you live here syd, don't go hooking up with manwhore over here, because hes probably going to cheat on you after a week" cassie said as loud as she possibly could. "cass, let's take sydney to meet mom" ryan told his sisters. "were praying for you sydney" aubrey and ryan laughed and looked at each other. "whats wrong with mom?" sydney was genuinely concerned. 

"you will see soon sis" ryan had one arm around sydney and the other around aubrey as he walked the girls out the door. "your not coming man whore and neither are you aubrey!" cassie shouted as she bolted out the door. the 3 siblings get into cassie's car, when ryan steps out, "ill be back. cassie and sydney attempt to hear their brothers conversation with the girl everyone knew he liked. 

"aubrey!" ryan called after the brunette who was already walking off with archibald, "my buddy dan is new in town and hes going out with serena soon, do you wanna do like a double date thing for dinner, and do our own thing after? he said nervously. "definitely!" aubrey smiled at him, "text me the details" aubrey and nate left but of course aubrey had to tell her best friend asap, so she mouthed it to her and showed a thumbs up! cassie didn't understand a word she said but she knew what just happened .

"hey who is that in the picture with you?" sydney pointed to a picture of cassie and a boy with blackish hair and brown eyes on her windshield. "oh that's my ex boyfriend, we dated for almost 2 years, but ended things months ago, i haven't been in my car since we broke up" cassie took the picture away. "his name was dylan, dylan travis." cassie fixed her hair. " were you guys happy?" sydney asked, "mhm" cassie replied but deep down she knew she was the only one who knew and who could ever know about the secret of their relationship. 

the three siblings started driving to their mums office, when cassie saw the cute boy from the cafe again. he waved at her and she waved back, she really was hoping to get his name at least.  cassie started getting spam calls from the same number who called and texted her day of the ivy week, and a texts, she read the text "new sister cassie, can't wait to see her reaction when she finds out her sister is dead", she started to find the situation really weird, but decided to focus on her sister.

"drop me off, here, i wanna do this alone" sydney got out of the car. "you think she's gonna survive?" ryan asked his sister, "not a chance" cassie laughed, "so wait what made you want to ask aubrey on a date?" cassie was very intrigued. "i'm guessing you knew we had sex twice?" the boy asked, "yea, wait twice" cassie said remembering only the time at the ivy week, "yeah we also did it at chucks brunch too, anyway I wanna get to know her too and not just her body" ryan smiled at his sister, "ew gross, disgusting, yuck!" cassie ran out of the car.
