Chapter 76: A new mole pt2

Vanya POV

Alana enters threw the front door first, walking down the hallway towards the baby's room. Once she's inside the room and has the baby secured, I walk in, making my way toward the parent's room.

"Make sure your gun is loaded!" Anastasia comments whilst shutting the door after she enters

"It is" I whisper. The parents' bedroom door is wide open, I creep over to the left side of the bed. Assuming Tai would sleep there since it's closer to the bathroom.

The gun that is tucked away in my belt, is drawn out, aiming it straight at Tai's head as she sleeps, cluelessly. Now all Alana has to do is make the child cry to wake the parents.

"Meria" Tai gently whispers. I suck in my breath, holding it in as she taps her wife with her eyes still closed. "Can you help me to the bathroom?"

"Sh" Nymeria whispers, pushing her wife's hand off of her. How rude of her.

"Meria, please. I have to go badly" Tai whispers again and then she pops those big brown eyes open and stares at the muzzle of my gun. She screams, making Nymeria jump up from the bed and turn on the lights

"Tai!" Nymeria shouts

"Move and she dies," Anastasia says, putting a gun to her head with a small but noticeable smirk on her face. Nymeria freezes in her place, holding eye contact with her wife.

"Don't be afraid Tai" Nymeria says, not an ounce of fear displayed on her face. Artemis did an amazing job training her go-team leader

"Yes, you shouldn't fear us Tai as we won't hurt you if you comply," Ana states, cocking her head while looking at Tai. Tai's gaze shifts from her wife's to Ana's.

"M-my baby" Tai stutters

"Exactly" Anastasia smiles. "Now, Meria, shouldn't you be asking what we want?"

"What do you guys want?" Nymeria asks

Should I say something? Ana has been handling things so far, so why'd she stop now?

The silence that fills the room is uncomfortably tense. No one is saying a word yet glazes are exchanged between the two wives. They wouldn't do something as stupid as fighting back when they know we have their daughter, would they?

Tai looks at me before sucking in a breath and scooting back into the bed. "Don't do it--" I'm cut off from my sentence as her foot connects with my gun, sending it flying toward the floor. She lunges at me, sending the both of us falling, right beside the gun.

I reach for it but she punches me, and the taste of blood fills my mouth.

Fuck! This bitch just hit me. My cheek stings in pain as I throw her off of me. I scramble to my feet, readying myself to fight when the sound of a gunshot rings throughout the room and Tai begins stumbling backward, struggling to keep herself upright.

Tai falls onto the bed, scrunching up the sheets in pain. "I'm shot Meria" Her words ring in my head like a bell.

Shot? "You fucking shot her?!" I turn around, ready to yell at Anastasia but I see Alana standing next to her holding a fucking gun

"What the fuck happened?" Alana shouts, waving around her gun

"You shot her!" I say, trying to get her to realize what the hell she just did
