"The truth is, there are two Bakashi-kun..."

I switched the channel.

"Dr Jekyll is, in fact, also Mr. Hyde..."

I switched the channel again.

"If you make him angry, he's no longer Dr Bruce Banner. He will turn into 'The Other Guy'..."

What's with all these doctors and clever people having multiple personalities...

Wait... Don't these remind you of someone?

Oh my goodness.

It explains everything... Even the probable cause and the symptoms...

This is what happened to... Akashi Sei!

"Wow, some people are playing the expert mode in this game of life," I muttered as I turned the TV off.

I walked to the fridge to find something to snack on. When I saw a pack of sausages, I was reminded of that irresponsible adult named Gin.

Tomorrow I'll definitely ask Haise. It's not healthy to bottle up my thoughts from my boyfriend.

Then the realization hit me. What if...

What if my Haise is the same with Sei-chan, Dr Jekyll, or The Hulk?

I spent the night browsing on Dissociative Identity Disorders (D.I.D.)... I concluded that The Hulk shouldn't be in this category since his change was initally caused by radiation or something.

But for people who had past trauma or stress... this could be the case. Sei-chan definitely experienced great stress from his uptight posh family, although I wasn't sure if that's the only trigger.

But I didn't know much about my own boyfriend... What had possibly happened in the past? Could it be related to his hair? Now that I thought of it, I remembered something called the Marie Antoinette Syndrome... Although, most people would lose all their pigmented (in this case, black) hair, leaving them completely bald. This would explain that Saitama guy from One Punch Man.

I'm sick of finding out stuff about other people but not the only one I want to know about...

The next day was Saturday so school finished early. We agreed to go for a coffee after school, then head back to Haise's place. We hung out at his house more because...

He has better sets of kitchen-wares okay? He cooks for me and my affection for him grows even bigger each meal. Please don't judge. (I only have frozen foods in my house)

So that night, I plucked up my courage to question Haise...

I started with telling him about what happened last week when we watched Ponyo and he fell asleep. I could see his expression turned from curious to anxious.

"So please tell me..." I wanted to word the next bit carefully, but it's still hard to say it out. I hadn't spoken out my thoughts when Haise broke the silence.

"I guess you've figured it out." He looked down. "I hope you're not being scared away by it..."

"Of course I won't, you're still you after all." I said sincerely.

Haise seemed confused. "What's it got to do with me?" he asked.

"Since it's your other persona?"

"What are you on about?" He laughed.

"You don't have... D.I.D.?"

He laughed even harder, "Did you watch too much anime?"

Haise please! There's no such thing as watching too much anime!

"What's happening?" I was dumb-founded. "What about the mysterious person who was in your body then?"

"Oh that's just Ken," Haise replied lightly.

"Who is Ken??"

"He's the spirit who lives in this house," he said, with the same happy tone. "I thought you'd be creeped out by him and wouldn't want to come to my house again."

Well it'll depend on how this "Ken" looks like, won't it? If he looks like a cannibalistic scary monster then who wouldn't be afraid?

"Ken, come out for a sec?" Haise talked into a corner near the couch, like asking his pet puppy to come out and greet a house guest. "Come on, don't be shy, I'll feed you later."

A white silhouette appeared from that corner, forming a body of a boy who looked not older than ten. He had pearly white hair and fair skin, but his nails were black. The clothes he wore reminded me of the appearance of a little young master from a wealthy family.

Haise introduced us; although, Ken's face looked cold and a bit grumpy.

"I-it looks like he hates me," I whispered to Haise.

"No, he only shows up to people he likes. Which reminds me..." Haise turned to Little Ken, "I thought I told you not to possess my body?" He sounded like a strict parent.

"I do what I want," Ken lifted his chin, pouting his lips. Then he sat on the couch and looked at me, "You may stroke my hair now."

Aaaa what is this tsundere little boy...?? Sooooo cuuuute!
