On Monday morning, as they pulled up outside the treatment centre Jessica looked at Taylor – anxiety written all over her face "Tay...."

Taylor looked back at her, a kind smile trying to reassure her "you're ok buddy..."

Jessica bit her lip, trying to hold back her tears but her voice broke as she spoke "please....please don't make me go in there"

Taylor sighed, knowing this wasn't going to be a pleasant conversation "baby, you have to. This is to keep you safe"

Jessica's tears fell now "I want to stay at home with you – just give me one more chance, please!"

Taylor shook her head, her voice firm "the treatment team think you need to be here, and I support their decision"

Jessica opened her mouth to protest again but Taylor interrupted "right, dry your tears – take a deep breath and let's go."

Jessica shook her head but Taylor held her hand gently "you are going in there – whether you like it or not. I will literally DRAG you in if I have to, because it is my job to keep you safe. I am sorry this is upsetting for you – but this is what you need. So, count to three – then lets go..."

This time, Jessica nodded – a small, uncertain nod but Taylor took it as a win. She jumped out the car and quickly opened the teen's door. Jessica stood up slowly then took a few steps forward. She hesitated for a moment but Taylor gently led her into the building.

Both of them expected Taylor to be able to stay, but as soon as Jessica was signed in, they asked Taylor to leave. The blonde pulled her in for a hug – whispering comfort to her before stepping outside. As she got back into her car, she took a deep breath – swallowing down her own tears before heading home.

At 7PM, Taylor pulled up outside again – ready to collect the teen. As she stepped inside, she saw Jessica waiting sheepishly for her. Immediately Taylor knew it hadn't been a good day. The doctors pulled Taylor into their office. Taylor took a deep breath "I guess it was a difficult day?"

The doctor nodded "it is always a hard transition for anyone. Today Jessica ate her breakfast but then refused her morning snack. She ate half of her lunch, then refused her afternoon snack. Dinner she ate the vegetables, took one bite of meat then refused the rest."

Taylor sighed "so she's eaten less than half of what she needs..."

The doctor smiled kindly "we knew it was going to be a battle – the first day is always the hardest. We will keep an eye on it..."

Taylor smiled, trying not to show her anxiety as she walked back to the teen. She led Jessica out of the clinic, back to the car. Immediately Jessica's eyes welled up with tears "don't make me go back there"

Taylor grimaced but Jessica carried on "I didn't like it there. It was horrible!"

Taylor squeezed Jessica's hand gently "Buddy. I know you don't like it but this is for your own good. Remember what we talked about this morning? It's my job to keep you safe and right now, this is how we can do that"

Jessica shook her head "I will eat – just not there!"

Taylor shrugged "you don't have a choice. You're going to continue to go, every day – until you are healthier. There is no getting out of this"

Jessica swallowed down her tears, nodding slightly. Taylor pulled away and attempted to engage the teen in conversation but Jessica just sat quietly, fighting a war in her own head.

As they got inside, Taylor wrapped her arm around Jessica "so, what do you want to do? We can watch some TV...or you can read...or we can chat-"

Jessica sighed, her voice small "can I just go to bed? I am REALLY tired"
