Exercise part 2

Jessica was struggling with her fractured foot. It wasn't that her foot was painful – but she couldn't actually walk on it which was dramatically reducing her movement and she was just sat on the sofa or in bed. The guilt was eating away at her. She could feel her body changing – the muscle she had worked so hard to build up was wasting away and she could feel the fat seeping in.

Taylor had been very strict with her about resting so Jessica had to get creative but she knew deep down it wasn't enough.

The voices in Jessica's head were screaming at her and her desperation was increasing.

At lunchtime, Jessica ate half of her food then pushed the plate away.

Taylor frowned "what's wrong buddy?"

Jessica shrugged "I'm done...", she hoped she would get away with it but as always, Taylor shook her head "you have to finish that all – you know the rules". Her voice was firm but Jessica wasn't backing down, the teen crossed her arms – her own voice showing her frustrations "I have just been laying on the sofa for DAYS. I don't need this much food, I'm not exercising"

Taylor smiled softly "Baby, your plan is based off what your body needs. When you were exercising we added an extra snack in – you haven't been having that extra snack but this? This is just your base plan..."

Jessica thew her head back in frustration "but that BASE plan includes normal day to day movement. I am literally not even walking around – I don't move. My basal metabolic rate is lower so my calorie intake should be lower..."

Taylor shook her head "I am not negotiating on this with you"

Jessica opened her mouth to argue back but Taylor held up her hand – silencing the teen "Food and calories are not up for discussion. Now, you can finish that or you can have a supplement – they are your choices."

Jessica huffed, pulling the plate closer to her again "I'm not doing supplements. Remember?"

Taylor shrugged, taking a bite of her own food "well then you have to eat."

Reluctantly, Jessica made her way through the rest of her lunch, glaring at the food with every bite. Eventually, she finished and Taylor grabbed the plate – putting it into the dishwasher. She helped Jessica back into the living room – propping her foot up.

The teen began to get fidgety, the anxiety of the food settling in her stomach causing her to chew the inside of her lip harshly.

Suddenly the boot felt heavy and claustrophobic, she leant down – undoing the straps. Taylor frowned "what are you doing? It needs to stay on until bedtime"

Jessica shook her head, unable to form a full sentence "off"

Taylor could hear the panic in her voice so she knelt down beside her – putting her hands over the teens "lets just leave it a minute..."

Jessica's hands scrambled to get it off though so Taylor helped her – not wanting her to hurt herself in her panic.

As soon as the boot was off, the teen began flexing her ankle joint but Taylor placed a soft hand on her foot "don't do that baby – it needs to be held in position, remember?"

Jessica nodded, sighing slightly "it hurts..."

Taylor grimaced at her "let me get you some painkillers, you stay there"

The blonde stood quickly, hurrying to the kitchen. As soon as Taylor was out of eyeshot, Jessica began to lift her leg up and down – desperate to get some exercise in.
