Easter

Taylor, Jessica and Emmeline had headed to Taylor's family for easter. It was something that Taylor was really looking forward to – knowing she would get some help with Emmeline and be able to catch up on some sleep.

Emmeline had other ideas though – she was super clingy – wanting to only ever be with Taylor or Jessica. Taylor hoped she would warm up to her family once she had been there a couple of days and they all tried to help in other ways. Andrea was making sure Taylor was fed and rested as much as she could be with the baby stuck to her.

It was time for the easter egg hunt and Taylor made them all wait for a minute, she reappeared with Emmeline dressed in a bunny outfit – fluffy tail and all. They all aww'ed and cooed over her and Taylor snapped a few photos.

Austin bumped into Jessica – a cheeky grin on his face "are you ready for battle?"

Taylor sighed, rolling her eyes "they're kids Austin..."

Jessica laughed at him, nodding her head "bring it on!"

As the hunt began, Taylor walked Emmeline round, helping her to grab a few eggs to put in her basket. Scott and Andrea smiled widely, capturing a few photos of them.

Austin and Jessica were running around madly, grabbing as many eggs as they could.

Taylor laughed, smiling at the teen as she was zooming around. She loved that Jessica was fully emersed in the process – knowing it was a great family tradition for them.

As Jessica grabbed the last egg, Austin sprinted over, pulling her around playfully – pretending to attempt to get the egg off her.

Taylor called over "Austin, leave her alone!"

Jessica giggled "YEAH, LEAVE ME ALONE!"

Andrea sighed "he's finally found a new play mate..."

Taylor rolled her eyes playfully "yeah she is loving it!"

When Jessica finally managed to get the egg in the basket, Austin let her go and they ran over to the table "that was really fun!"

Jessica showed Taylor her basket and Taylor smiled kindly "you did great baby!"

Jessica grinned back "I got some for you too!"

Taylor's eyes glistened "aww baby, thanks!"

Austin fake pushed her, mumbling 'suck up'

They all laughed and Andrea turned to Jessica "do you want to come and help me do some baking?"

Jessica looked at Taylor – unsure if she was allowed to or not. When Taylor nodded, Jessica grinned "yes please!"

They headed off inside to make cookies and shortbread.

Later that afternoon, Jessica was sitting reading a book when she glanced at the clock. She bit her lip anxiously and stood up, walking to the kitchen shyly where Andrea was prepping dinner.

The blonde looked up as she came in "hello darling, you ok?"

Jessica nodded, before looking down "erm, Tay fell asleep putting the baby down for a nap...but it's 2.30 and I'm supposed to have a snack..."

Andrea smiled at her "great – well done! What would you like?"

Jessica shrugged "I don't know what I should have – I'm not usually allowed to pick..."

Andrea nodded "Well – I have some cinnamon rolls or I have this new cinnamon/apple/raisin pastry..."

Jessica thought about it for a few seconds before Andrea interrupted "do you need me to pick?"
