Janine smiled as she stood up as she was glad to be free as she looked at Sage and Leaf as her expression turned serious as she pointed at the old man next to her. What I'm about to tell both of you might be hard to process but this is David and he was once part of Team Rocket but he left after learning about their true plans" Janine said as Sage and Leaf had a surprise look on their faces as they looked at David who solemnly nodded.
I took something from them—something that could expose everything. A disk that contains all of their Endgame plans, including their intentions for the Safari Zone and why they're after all the Pokémon here" David said with a grim expression on his face.
Where's the disk now?" Sage asked urgently.
It's in my house, but there's a problem..." David said
What's the problem?" Leaf asked.
The house is currently occupied by two Team Rocket grunts and one of their executives is someone strong and its none other then my dad Koga" Janine said with anger in her tone.
Koga? Your father is with Team Rocket?" Leaf asked in absolute shock.
I don't know how or why but I'm going to find out. Koga was the original Gym Leader of Fuchsia City before he disappeared years ago. I've been searching for him and now this happened..." Janine said as she gritted her teeth in anger.
Sage, still processing the revelation as she suddenly recalled something her own father had told her when she was six years old.
My father—he said Koga was presumed dead after his Pokémon was found in a forest, alone and abandoned" Sage said.
That's what I've always been told, too but I refuse to believe it. I need to know the truth—why would he join Team Rocket? Is he being forced to work for them, or has something changed in him?" Janine said
Leaf placed a hand on her shoulder.
We'll figure it out, Janine. We'll help you save the disk from Team Rocket and uncover the truth about your father" Leaf said.
We can't let Team Rocket get away with this. If Koga is involved, we'll get him back and we'll make sure Team Rocket's plans are stopped" Sage thought.
