Sage, Leaf and Janine stood together, their smiles radiating the satisfaction of a hard-fought victory as they had saved the Safari Zone from Team Rocket's clutches and the citizens of Fuchsia City could finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Janine, still tied to her duty as the Gym Leader, gave them both a grateful nod as went into the house and came back out as she gave Sage the disk.

This will be much safer in your hands and I look forward to facing you two in my gym" Janine said as she walked away

Sage put the disk in her bag as she now had the disk and the icy rock to protect from Team Rocket.

That was intense but I'm glad we could stop Team Rocket. I'll catch up with you later, Sage. I'm heading to the Pokémon Center to heal my team" Leaf said as she hugged Sage and walked away.

Sage still feeling a sense of accomplishment was about to leave when suddenly David stepped out of the bushes with a Pokéball in his hand as he gave Sage a warm smile.

Sage, I have something for you," David said as he handed her a Pokéball.

What's this?" Sage asked.

In this Pokéball is a Hitmonchan. I found it abandoned here in the Safari Zone. I believe it would appreciate it if you became its trainer. It's a strong fighter and would be a great addition to your team" David said with a smile

A Hitmonchan? Wow, thank you!" Sage said as she accepted the Pokéball with enthusiasm as felt an immediate connection to her new Pokémon.

Sage's Rotom Phone buzzed and displayed Hitmonchan information.

Hitmonchan the Punching Pokémon: Hitmonchan is known for its powerful punches, which can be infused with different elemental properties. It trains rigorously to perfect its techniques.

Moves:

Ice Punch

Mach Punch

Thunder Punch

Fire Punch

Throat Chop

This is amazing!" Sage exclaimed as she marveled at Hitmonchan's moveset.

Sage immediately used an antidote on Espeon to cure it of the poison from earlier and then recalled her Psychic Pokemon into its Pokéball.

Well time to for me to leave" Sage said as she began making her way towards the entrance or the Safari zone as Sage spotted a familiar figure ahead as it was Red but he seemed tense.

Red!" Sage said as she walked up to him.

Seems I was too late to help you and Leaf," Red said, his voice tinged with frustration.

What's wrong, Red?" Sage asked curiously.

Red glanced around, making sure no one else was listening.

I've recently gathered some information... someone matching my missing father's description has been spotted in Saffron City and i need you, Leaf and Blue to help me confirm if this is true" Red said

Your father... could it really be him?" Sage asked curiously.

Red gave her a tense look, the worry and determination in his eyes unmistakable.

I don't know. But before we do anything, we need to get Janine's Gym Badge. I can't move forward with this until I'm sure we're ready" Red said.

Of course. We'll get that badge, then we'll help you track down the truth" Sage said as she was determined to help her friend.

Red gave her a small, appreciative nod and the two of them began walking toward the entrance of the Safari zone together.

With a new ally in her team and a new mission on the horizon, Sage couldn't shake the feeling that her journey was about to take a much more dangerous turn. But with her friends by her side and her resolve stronger than ever, she was ready for whatever came next.
