With a determined spirit and a heart full of excitement, Sage set off toward Viridian Forest as she was eager to see what new Pokémon awaited her as the sun filtered through the leaves overhead and casted playful shadows on the ground as she made her way down the path leading into the forest.
Sage had heard stories about Viridian Forest, a place known for its rich variety of Pokémon and beautiful scenery as she entered the lush greenery as the sounds of rustling leaves and distant bird calls filled the air. She smiled, imagining all the adventures she would have here.
As she walked further in, Sage spotted a vibrant green caterpillar-like Pokémon munching on a leaf.
Whoa, look at that!" Sage exclaimed as Charmander and Eevee who was by Sage side was looking at the caterpillar Pokemon in wonder.
Excited, Sage quickly pulled out her Rotom Phone and pointed it at the Pokémon as the device whirred to life and began scanning the caterpillar and displaying its information on the screen.
Caterpie, the Worm Pokémon. Bug Type. It's well-known for its ability to evolve into Butterfree. It emits a strong odor from the antenna on its head to deter predators."
Sage's eyes sparkled with wonder as she somehow knew that catching a Caterpie could be a great addition to her team, especially considering it could evolve into a powerful Butterfree. Plus, she was eager to see what kind of strategies she could develop with it.

Eevee sprinted forward and collided with Caterpie as the tiny Pokémon was taken by surprise but quickly regained its composure as It retaliated with a weak but determined String Shot as Caterpie was shooting threads of silk toward Eevee.
Dodge it!" Sage said
Eevee narrowly avoided the strands as Sage noticed that Eevee was getting faster. "Now, use Sand Attack!"
Eevee kicked up dirt and sand, sending it toward Caterpie as the attack made it difficult for Caterpie to see as its movements becoming sluggish.
Let's try to catch it! Poké Ball, go!"
With a swift motion, she threw an empty Poké Ball at the Caterpie as the ball hit it and after a brief moment of struggle, it clicked shut, signaling a successful capture.
Yeah! We did it!" Sage cheered as she was bouncing on her toes with excitement as she hurried over to pick up the Poké Ball with a broad smile on her face.
Welcome to the team, Caterpie!" Sage said as she was glad to already have four Pokemon.
As she secured the Poké Ball on her belt, she noticed a rustling in the nearby bushes. Sage and her Pokémon turned to see what it was and to their surprise, a few more Caterpie emerged from the foliage along with a bright green Metapod.
Wow! There are so many here! We should definitely explore a bit more" Sage said excitedly.
With a new sense of adventure, Sage led Charmander and Eevee deeper into Viridian Forest as they were ready to discover more Pokémon.
