Daisy, Blue, Leaf, and Red made their way out of Chase laboratory as they were discussing their next steps on how to stop Team Rocket as Sage stayed behind for a moment as her father, Chase, called her over.

I have a gift for you, sweetie," Chase said as his voice was full of pride.

What is it, Dad?" Sage asked curiously

Chase reached into his pocket and pulled out a shining stone as he handed it to Sage with a smile.

Since you already have the Key Stone, it only makes sense I give you the Mega Stone for your Charizard" Chase said with a warm smile on his face

Since you already have the Key Stone, it only makes sense I give you the Mega Stone for your Charizard" Chase said with a warm smile on his face.

Sage's eyes lit up as she carefully took the Charizardite X from her father.

Thank you, Daddy!" Sage exclaimed as her voice was filled with excitement as she could already imagine the battles her future Charizard could win with this new power.

Don't mention it, kiddo but remember, starting now, the rest of the Gym Leaders will use Mega Evolution in their battles. You'll need to train all your Pokémon, so they're ready to face this new challenge. Make sure they evolve fully" Chase said.

I will, Dad. I promise" Sage said as she gave her dad a big hug.

After a warm farewell, Sage left the laboratory and made her way to the nearby Pokémon Center. As she entered, Nurse Joy greeted her with a friendly smile and began healing her Pokémon except for Pikachu .

As Sage waited, she took a moment to think about the upcoming training sessions. She knew that each of her Pokémon had untapped potential, and now that she had the Charizardite X, it was time to focus even more on perfecting their skills.

It wouldn't be easy but Sage was more determined than ever to rise to the challenge and become the Pokémon Master she had always dreamed of being.

Sage noticed her Pikachu, who had been sitting quietly by her side as Says remember when she had saved Pikachu from the beedrills in Viridian forest and Sage couldn't help but wonder if it was finally time for Pikachu to evolve.

She reached into her bag and pulled out a Thunder Stone and held it out to Pikachu.

Pikachu, I've been thinking. You've been with me through everything and if you want to evolve then this Thunder stone will be the key for you to get much stronger" Sage said with a smile.

Pikachu looked at the stone thoughtfully with a mix of curiosity and hesitation and after a long moment, Pikachu shook its head and took a step back, signaling that it wasn't ready to evolve.

Sage felt a mix of understanding and respect for her Pokémon's decision.

I respect your choice, Pikachu. If you're not ready, then we'll wait until the time is right. I trust you and we'll keep working together, just like we always have" Sage said as she hugged Pikachu.

Pikachu nodded happily, feeling reassured by Sage's words. The bond between them was stronger than ever and Sage knew that no matter what form Pikachu took, they would always be a team.

As Nurse Joy returned with Sage's healed Pokémon, Sage felt a renewed sense of purpose. She had a long road ahead, but with her friends by her side and the strength of her Pokémon team, she was more than ready to face whatever challenges lay in wait.
