Sage exited the Pokémon Center with a determined stride as her Pokémon were fully healed and ready for the challenge ahead and as she walked toward the Fuchsia City Gym, she caught sight of Red standing near the entrance, his expression was one of satisfaction.
Red looked at Sage and said.
Janine's a tough one. Her Mega Evolution Pokémon is insanely fast, so it's not just about brute strength—strategy is key. You'll need to think on your feet if you want to beat her" Red said with a serious expression on his face.
Sage nodded thoughtfully as thankful for Red advice.
Thanks, Red. I'll keep that in mind" Sage said which a smiled as she stepped into the gym.

Sage entered the gym as the gym guide greeted her and handed her five Lemonades, along with some vital information about Janine's battle style.
Janine specializes in Poison-type Pokemon and she uses status effects and relies heavily on her Mega Evolution Pokémon's speed. You'll need more than just power; strategy is your best ally here" the gym guide said
Sage took the Lemonades and thanked the guide as Sage then made her way up the stairs wuth her mind already focusing on the battle ahead.
The gym was dimly lit, with winding paths that led to a platform at the top and there, standing with a confident smile was Janine.

I'm glad you made it. I'm the fifth Gym Leader and just so you know, I'm not going to go easy on you. Let's have a Four-on-Four Pokémon battle. Are you ready?" Janine asked.
I'm ready, Janine" Sage said with a smile on her face.
(Battle Begin)
With a flick of her wrist, Sage tossed her Poké Ball into the air and out came Pikachu who was ready to fight with strong electricity charges coming out of its cheeks.
Janine responded as sent out Arbok as the Poison-type Pokémon moved around menacingly as it looked ready to battle.
Sage's Rotom Phone buzzed to life and scanned Arbok and displayed its Pokédex entry.
Arbok the Cobra Pokémon: this Pokemon is known for its ability to coil its body with immense strength and fire strong venomous attacks.
Alright, Pikachu, let's start with Quick Attack!" Sage said with a smile.
Before Janine could react, Pikachu darted forward with lightning speed and slammed into Arbok and sending it flying back into the wall.
Janine's eyes widened for a brief moment but she quickly regained her composure.
Nice move but don't get too confident. Arbok use Poison Tail!" Janine said.
Arbok's tail glowed green as it swung in a wide arc, aiming for Pikachu.
Pikachu, counter with Thunder Punch!" Sage commanded as Pikachu fist cracked with electricity as both attacks collided together as a huge shockwave happened as it sent both Pokemon flying back.
Use Earthquake, Arbok!" Janine shouted.
The ground beneath Sage and Pikachu began to shake violently, sending cracks through the gym floor. Pikachu yelped in pain as it stumbled back and fourth as Sage could tell her electric Pokemon received some heavy damage.
Janine's eyes gleamed with confidence as she saw an opening.
Arbok use Gunk Shot!" Janine commanded.
With incredible speed, Arbok launched a stream of toxic sludge toward Pikachu.
Pikachu, dodge!" Sage shouted urgently as Pikachu reacted just in time and darted to the side using Quick Attack as Pikachu narrowly avoiding the incoming sludge.
Now, Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sage called.
Pikachu released a powerful bolt of electricity, the surge of energy striked Arbok with precision as the Cobra Pokémon recoiled in pain.
Arbok use Toxic!" Janie called out
The ground under Pikachu began to bubble and churn as a pool of poison opened underneath Pikachu as Pikachu was now poisoned as the electric mouse was staggering back and fourth!
No..." Sage muttered as her heart was pounding extremely fast from adrenaline and nervousness.
Pikachu use Thunderbolt again, as strong as you can!" Sage shouted.
Pikachu, though weakened by the poison, pushed through and released another powerful Thunderbolt. However, Janine had already prepared her counter.
Arbok use Sludge Bomb!" Janine ordered.
The two attacks collided mid-air, causing a massive explosion of energy that sent both Pikachu and Arbok flying back into the walls. The gym trembled under the force of the collision, and both Pokémon lay still on the ground, unconscious.
Both Pikachu and Arbok are unable to battle. The match is now tied, with both trainers having three Pokémon remaining" The referee shouted
Sage took a deep breath, looking down at Pikachu's exhausted form. She returned the Electric-type Pokémon to its Poké Ball and gave it a moment to rest.
Good job, Pikachu" Sage whispered, before focusing on the battle once more.
Janine smirked, retrieving her next Pokémon. "I hope you're ready for my next challenge, Sage."
Sage nodded, feeling the weight of the battle ahead. With three Pokémon left, it was time to step up her strategy and show Janine just what she was capable of.
