Sage's Rotom Phone buzzed and displayed the Venusaur Pokedex entry.

The transformation was awe-inspiring and Sage could feel her heart race as this was it—the final, intense moment of the battle.
With a determined grin, Sage took a deep breath.
Alright, Charizard, let's do this. Mega Evolve!" Sage shouted as she activated Charizardite X.
In a dazzling flash of light, Charizard underwent its own transformation and evolved into Mega Charizard X for the first time.

Sage felt happiness at seeing her once determined Charmander now became a very strong Charizard that can Mega evolved as Sage remember when she first picked and now its was time to prove how powerful they have become now.
Charizard use Flamethrower!" Sage commanded with confidence.
Charizard roared and unleashed a Flamethrower that shot toward Mega Venusaur like a bullet as the attack hit its target with such force that a shockwave rippled across the gym and nearly knocking both Sage and Erika off their feet.
Sage's jaw dropped in amazement as she witnessed the sheer strength of Charizard's Mega evolution power.
Venusaur use Sludge Bomb!" Erika ordered.
But Sage wasn't done yet. "Charizard, dodge quickly and fly up!"
Charizard swiftly took to the skies, dodging the Sludge Bomb as it exploded on the ground below.
Erika smirked as she saw her opportunity.
Venusaur use Vine Whip!" Erika commanded.
Venusaur's vines shot out and grabbed Charizard by the legs and slammed it down to the ground with immense force as the ground shook as Charizard hit the ground hard.
Charizard use Wing Attack!" Sage shouted as she was trying to regain control over the situation.
Charizard, quickly regaining its bearings, swung its massive wings at Venusaur.
Venusaur use Protect!" Erika ordered.
Venusaur raised a shimmering barrier, blocking the Wing Attack with ease as the tension in the gym was thick as Erika gave her next command.
Venusaur use Swords Dance!" Erika said.
Venusaur danced gracefully as swords surrounded it as Venusaur attack rose dramatically as it was to deliver even more powerful blows.
Sage's mind raced as she had to think fast.
Charizard use Fire Claw!" Sage ordered.
Charizard's claws were engulfed in blazing blue flames as it slashed at Venusaur as Venusaur grunted in pain from the hit but it wasn't finished yet.
Now, Charizard use Fire Tail!" Sage commanded with authority.
Charizard's tail ignited in flames, and with a mighty swing, it slammed into Venusaur, sending the massive Pokémon flying into the wall with tremendous force.
Erika's face showed clear panic as she rushed to issue her next command.
Venusaur use Sludge Bomb!" Erika shouted.
Charizard use Flamethrower!" Sage shouted.
The two attacks collided in mid-air, a massive explosion of Sludge Bomb and Flamethrower lighting up the gym.
The shockwave rattled the entire arena and when the dust cleared, Venusaur had fallen, its Mega Evolution worn off, leaving it unconscious on the battlefield.
Sage stood, panting slightly from the intense battle, as her Charizard dropped out of its Mega Evolution, returning to its normal form. It was clearly tired, having used Mega Evolution for the first time but it was still standing proud.
Venusaur is unable to battle! The winner is Sage!" The referee declared.
Sage's heart raced in triumph. She had done it—she had earned her fourth Gym Badge. She rushed over to Charizard, giving it a pat on the back as she smiled proudly. It had been a tough battle but in the end, she had come out victorious.
