Sage and Red stepped through the doors of the Pewter City Pokémon Center as they were both eager to heal their Pokémon and prepare for the challenges ahead ass they approached the counter they spotted Leaf sitting nearby as her eyes was shining with excitement.
Leaf! Did you already get your Gym Badge?" Sage asked as she was impressed.
Yep! Brock was tough but Bulbasaur and I managed to pull through. I can't believe I got my first badge!" Leaf said excitedly.
Congrats, Leaf! That's amazing!" Red said as he was genuinely happy for her.
Your Pokémon are fully healed. They're in great shape!" Nurse Joy said as she came back with a tray that has Red and Sage Poke balls on it.
Thank you, Nurse Joy!" Sage said as she began taking her Pokémon back with a smile on her face.
Just as Sage, Leaf and Red were about to head out the doors to the Pokémon Center opened again as Sage looked up and saw none other than Daisy Oak entering the building as Daisy wore a serious expression and the moment she spotted them she waved them over.
Sage, Red, Leaf—could you all come with me for a moment?" Daisy asked.
They exchanged curious glances and then nodded and followed her as she led them down the streets of Pewter City and soon they arrived at a large building with a sign that read PEWTER MUSEUM OF SCIENCE.
The Pewter Museum! I've heard they have all kinds of amazing and rare artifacts here" Sage said with wonder in her eyes.
Yes and there's something here I want you all to see" Daisy said.
They walked through the halls and began passing through displays of ancient fossils and rare stones until Daisy stopped before a glass case containing a dark, glowing rock with fiery red veins running through it as the rock radiated a mysterious energy and Sage couldn't take her eyes off it.

This is the Molten Rock. It's a rare artifact closely tied to the legendary bird Pokémon, Moltres" Daisy said as she pointed at the Rock.
Legendary Pokémon?" Sage asked as she was feeling a rush of excitement and curiosity.
Yes. Moltres is a mythical bird said to embody fire itself and the Molten Rock is believed to hold a fragment of its power and recently we have reason to believe that Team Rocket has become very interested in Legendary Pokémon like Moltres" Daisy said.
Team Rocket again... I ran into them when they were running from Viridian City" Red said.
Team Rocket's goal is power and a Legendary Pokémon like Moltres is incredibly powerful. They may believe that possessing an artifact tied to it like the Molten Rock could bring them one step closer to finding and controlling Moltres itself and that's why I'm concerned they might try to steal it" Daisy said.
We can't let them take something so important!" Leaf said as she glanced at Red with worry in her eyes
Exactly we still don't know when or where Team Rocket might strike next but we have to be vigilant and In fact, Blue recently heard rumors of Team Rocket sightings around Mt. Moon so he's gone to investigate but it might be too much for him to handle alone" Daisy said.
Then we should help Blue immediately! We can't let Team Rocket keep causing trouble" Sage said.
I agree. If they're planning something at Mt. Moon we can't let their actions go unchecked" Red said.
I know you're both eager to help but you need to be prepared as Mt. Moon is full of wild Pokémon and if Team Rocket is there, you'll be facing some serious danger so I suggest you earn the Pewter City Gym Badge first since Brock is a strong Gym Leader and having his badge will be a sign that you're ready to take on tougher challenges" Daisy said.
You're right, Daisy we'll get the Gym Badge first and then we'll head to Mt. Moon" Sage said confidently.
Good. Be careful and don't take Team Rocket lightly since they'll stop at nothing to get what they want" Daisy said as she walked away.
With a new goal in mind, Sage and her friends left the museum aseach of them more determined than ever as Sage couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves as she said bye to her friends and began walking towards Pewter City Gym.
