Sage stared at Brock ace Pokemon as Sage Rotom Phone scanned Onix and began displaying it's information for Sage.

Sage's confidence wavered slightly at the sight of Onix but she took a steadying breath and this was the final hurdle to her first Gym Badge and she was ready to give it her all.
Sage clenched her fists as she was watching her newly evolved Butterfree as it was about to face off against Brock's powerful Onix as the towering rock snake moved with surprising speed and its sheer size was intimidating.
Alright, Butterfree use Confusion!" Sage commanded as she was hoping to use the psychic attack to keep Onix at bay.
Butterfree's eyes glowed with a blue energy as it unleashed a wave of psychic power but before the attack could connect, Brock gave a sharp command.
Onix, dig underground!" Brock shouted.
In a swift motion, Onix burrowed beneath the ground as it vanished from sight as Butterfree's Confusion hit empty air and Sage's eyes widened in alarm.
Stay on guard, Butterfree!" Sage warned but it was too late as Onix suddenly burst from the earth right beneath Butterfree and launched itself into the air and swinged its massive tail down with a powerful slam.
Butterfree was struck hard as it was sent spiraling toward the ground and crashed down with a thud as Sage's heart sank as she watched Butterfree struggle to get up but Brock gave his next command quickly.
Onix use Rock Tomb!" Brock said with a smirk.
Onix roared as it summoned a barrage of heavy rocks as each rock was slamming down on Butterfree and with a final, crushing blow, Butterfree's wings drooped and it was unable to continue battling.
Thank you. You did great" Sage said as she hugged Butterfree and recalled it back into its Poké Ball.
Time to get serious" Sage said as she took out Charmander Poké Ball as she was determined to win her first gym badge.
