Mega Evolve, Beedrill!" Janine said as she activated her key stone as it reacted to Beedrill mega stone which was tied around its neck as in an instant Beedrill mega evolved as it was stingers looked mencing.
Charizard, Mega Evolve!" Sage commanded as she activated her key stone necklace as Charizard roared loudly as the ground shook as Charizard mega evolved as it looked ready to dominate.
Beedrill use Fury Cutter" Janine commanded.
Counter with Fire Claw, Charizard!" Sage ordered.
The two Pokémon charged at each other with blistering speed as fury Cutter collided with fire Claw as both Pokémon were pushing hard against one another in a moment of pure power as the battle was intense but Sage was ready to make her move.
Charizard use Fire Tail!" Sage commanded.
Charizard's tail erupted in flames and it swung it across Beedrill's face with a powerful blow, sending the Mega Beedrill flying across the gym and crashing hard into the wall.
Beedrill use Poison Jab!" Janine cried out as she was trying to regain control over the situation as in a blur, Beedrill darted towards Charizard, its stinger aiming for the fire starter chest.
Charizard, take to the skies!" Sage shouted as with impressive speed, Charizard launched itself into the air, dodging the poisonous strike with ease as Sage seized the opportunity.
Charizard use Flamethrower!" Sage shouted as Charizard unleashed a powerful stream of flames, engulfing Beedrill in a fiery explosion as the heat from the attack was overwhelming and as the smoke cleared, Beedrill was visibly battered, though it remained standing.
Don't give up, Beedrill! Use Sludge Bomb!" Janine encouraged as Beedrill fired a toxic orb of sludge straight at Charizard but Sage was quick to respond.
Charizard use Flamethrower again!" Sage called out.
The two attacks collided midair, creating a massive explosion as both Pokémon were engulfed in the blast beedrill staggered back as it was clearly disoriented and weakened from the hit as Sage saw her opening.
Now, Charizard use Fire Tail!" Sage commanded.
Charizard's fiery tail blazed once more but before it could strike, Janine's voice cut through.
Beedrill use Flash!" Janine said with a smirk as a blinding light shot from Beedrill's wings, temporarily blinding Charizard as the powerful flash disrupted Charizard's focus and its accuracy dropped.
"Hang in there, Charizard!" Sage shouted in worry.
Beedrill use Poison Jab!" Janine shouted.
Beedrill darted forward, stinger aimed directly at Charizard's stomach as the attack landed hard and Charizard groaned in pain.
Charizard don't give up and use Fire Tail" Sage called out as in an unexpected turn, Charizard's eyes burned with determination and instead of just swinging its tail, Charizard flew straight at Beedrill and grabbed it in midair and without warning, Charizard executed a seismic toss and slammed Beedrill hard into the ground
The gym shook from the impact as Beedrill lay unconscious on the ground.
Beedrill is unable to battle! Sage is the winner!" The referee announced as everyone cheered.
Sage stood frozen for a moment as she stared at Charizard as she hadn't expected it to learn Seismic Toss.

Janine Beedrill dropped out of its Mega evolution form as Charizard did the same as Sage was happy that she won her fifth gym badge and her bond between her Pokemon was growing stronger.
Wow with skills like that it's no wonder you beat my father, if you keep continuing down this route then not even the elite four or champion can beat you" Janine said with a smile as she handed Sage the Soul Badge.

Sage smiled as she started at the gym badge as she only needs three more left before she could take on the Pokemon league but before that her next mission is to help Red find his missing father as Sage walked out the gym with Charizard by her side.
