Sage's heart raced as she looked at the Cascade Badge which is Misty hand as that badge was symbol of Sage victory against Misty.
Sage Espeon, now a proud and powerful part of her team, rested happily in her arms as the battle had been intense but Sage had finally proven herself worthy.
Espeon nuzzled against Sage's cheek as it's soft fur was brushing against her face.
We did it, Espeon" Sage whispered as her voice was filled with emotion as she hugged her newly evolved Pokemon
Misty recalled her Starmie back into it's Pokéball as Misty was feeling pride and admiration that a female was talented in Pokemon battle since people tend to underestimate Females since most of them were focused on winning Pokemon contests and become Pokémon Coordinators.
Misty approached Sage with a warm smile as she gave Sage the Cascade Badge and said.
Congratulations trainer as proof of your victory her is the Cascade Badge which allows your Pokemon to now learn one more move meaning you can now use five moves in battle" Misty said with a warm smile.
Thanks so much, Misty!" Sage exclaimed as she immediately put the badge in her case as it was right next to the Boulder Badge.
Sage could hardly believe how far she had come in such a short amount of time as she already had two gym badges under her belt.
Misty then gave Sage a ticket and said.
This is a ticket for a cruise liner in Vermilion city called the S.S. Anne as they are celebrating their thirty first anniversary of the captain and his wife with a huge party and your friends Leaf, Blue and Red have battle me already and received their tickets and are probably on their way towards Vermilion city" Misty said.
A part in a cruise that sounds like fun" Sage said excitedly although she hoped the party did have a fancy dress code since she doesn't like wearing fancy clothes.
And both you go there is two places you should definitely visit as on route 24 there is an Orphanage which houses some rare Pokemon's waiting to be adopted" Misty said.
Sage was instantly excited as she couldn't help but wonder what type of Pokemon's the orphanage has to offer.
And as for the second place I recommend try and visit route 25 since the famous PokéManiac is living on that route and he is responsible for the creation of the PC system so he can definitely teach you a thing or two" Misty said.
Sage nodded as she left the gym as she went to the Pokemon Center for a much need rest.
