Sage stood in the wide open field near the edge of Route 24 with her Pokémon gathered around her as she was preparing to give her Pokemon an intense training session so they can learn new moves and so Squirtle can evolve.
Sage had already taken the time to teach her new Pokemon Phantuff two new move she invented called Thorn Storm and Bitter Burst and now she was excited to see if Phantuff could utilize it's new move.
Alright, team, Let's make today count. We've got battles to win and evolutions to reach!" Sage said with a warm smile as all her Pokemon cheered.
Sage crouched down to check Phantuff's updated moveset on the Rotom Phone.

Well done Phantuff, you have some very powerful moves that can surely help us and once you involve then everyone will fear you name" Sage smiled as she was determined to became a Pokemon master and become famous with all her Pokemon.

Espeon: Confusion, Swift, Psychic Ball, Hyper Voice, Sand Attack
Squirtle: Aqua Jet, Water Gun, Bite, Tackle
Sage smiled as she was proud of her team's progress.
You're all looking incredible but we're not done yet! Squirtle, today's goal is to get you strong enough to evolve so let's focus on building your battle skills" Sage said with a smile as Squirtle jumped up and down.
(Training Begins)
Sage started with a series of battles between her Pokémon to improve their speed, strength and coordination.
Phantuff vs. Pidgeotto: Sage had Phantuff practice its Thorn Storm as the grass/ghost Pokemon summoned a swirling storm of sharp, poison-tipped thorns that struck Pidgeotto mid-air.
Pidgeotto shook its head as it could feel that attack power as the bird Pokemon used Gale Slash as it cut through the remaining thorns as the battle ended with Phantuff landing a precise Shadow Punch.
Sage nodded in approval as she could definitely see Phantuff potential and the fact that it was able to handle its own against Pidgeotto who had a type advantage really showed that Phantuff could become a strong Pokemon in the future.
Charmeleon vs. Pikachu: Charmeleon used its Metal Claw to deflect Pikachu's fast Thunder Punch as the clashed created sparks that lit up the field.
Sage encouraged Charmeleon to control its power and precision as she knew Charmeleon had more potential on anyone in her team considering that Chameleon is Sage starter Pokemon.
Pikachu was practicing its Iron tail attacks on a tree as Sage noticed that Pikachu electricity was getting more powerful as Sage wondered what new move Pikachu will learn in the future.
Squirtle's Solo Challenge: Sage set up a training dummy and encouraged Squirtle to use a combination of Aqua Jet and Bite to improve its attack strength as Squirtle training hard as Sage smiled.
Keep going Squirtle show everyone you're true power" Sage exclaimed.
After several intense rounds, Squirtle suddenly began to glow as Sage gasped as the bright light surrounded her water type Pokemon as its form began shifting and growing taller.
Squirtle Evolves!
When the light faded, Squirtle had evolved into Wartortle as it let out a triumphant war cry.
You did it, Wartortle!" Sage exclaimed, rushing forward to hug her newly evolved Pokémon as Espeon and all of Sage Pokemon congratulated Watortle.
Sage Rotom Phone buzzed as it displayed Wartortle's updated moveset:

Rapid Spin
Rapid Spin, huh? This is going to come in handy" Sage said as her mind was already racing with battle strategies as the future was looking bright and it was only a matter of time before the rest of Sage team evolves fully.
