Eevee kicked up sand toward Starmie and temporarily blinding the duel water type but Misty wasn't fazed.

Starmie's body shimmered as it enhanced its defenses but Sage knew this was her chance to land a powerful attack
Eevee use Hyper Voice again!" Sage said.
Eevee unleashed another powerful wave of sound but Starmie barely flinched thanks to its Harden as Misty smirked.

The Psychic beam hit Eevee directly, sending it flying toward the large pool in the center of the gym.
Sage's heart skipped a beat as Eevee splashed into the water as it was struggling to stay afloat as Starmie quickly followed after Eevee as it was eager to finish the battle.

With determination, Eevee pushed itself out of the water and soared into the air as it released a deafening sonic blast straight at Starmie.
The attack landed with precision and Starmie was knocked back as it was momentarily stunned.
Sage paused for a moment as noticed something strange about Eevee as it was staring at the sun as if the sun was giving it energy as everyone was confused including Misty and Sage.

This time, Eevee eyes sparkled as it released a powerful sound blast as the attack was powerful to shatter all the windows in the gym and make everyone cover their ears as Starmie was sent flying towards the wall.
As the sound faded, Sage saw a flash of bright blue light enveloping Eevee as her heart raced as she realized what was happening.
Eevee was evolving.
The blue light surrounded Eevee completely and it began to change shape as it's body was glowing as its fur became sleek and radiant.
In moments, the transformation was complete and standing before Sage was no longer Eevee but a Espeon—a Psychic-type Pokémon who was both elegant and powerful.
Espeon..." Sage breathed as her voice was filled with awe and pride.
Her Rotom Phone buzzed again and Sage looked at it as she saw Espeon's entry in the Pokédex.
