Sage finally arrived in Route 24 as she could see the Pokemon orphanage which was standing magnificently by a river as Sage was excited to see what Pokemon she could see or even what Pokemon she could adopt.

Sage knocked on the door and heard a soft voice call out, "Come in."

Pushing the door open, Sage stepped inside and was greeted by a kind-looking woman with shoulder-length brown hair and a gentle smile.

Hello there" the woman said warmly.

I'm River, the caretaker of this Orphanage. How can I help you?" River smiled.

Hi, my name is Sage and i heard about the Orphanage from Misty and I wanted to see what Pokémon you have here" Sage said politely.

That's wonderful! Come with me, and I'll show you around" River said excitedly.

(Scene Change)

River led Sage through the orphanage as Sage saw some different kinds of Pokemon as their were some she hasn't seen and some she already encountered.

These are some of the Pokémon we've taken in," River explained.

Some were abandoned, while others were brought here by trainers who could no longer care for them" River said.

Sage eyes sparkled in wonder as she saw some Zubat's flying around aimlessly as their high pitched cries echoed throughout the orphanage.

Next was a pair of Slowpoke lazed near a small pond with their serene expressions unbothered by the chaos around them.

The Rotom Phone displayed Slowpoke's Water/Psychic typing and its ability to learn moves like Water Gun and Confusion.

Sage then saw two Butterfree hovering over a patch of flowers as their wings was shimmering in the sunlight streaming through the windows.

Then Sage's eyes fell on an Eevee that was curled up in a sunny corner with it's large eyes staring curiously at her.

Is that Eevee available for adoption?" Sage asked.

Yes, Eevee came here not long ago and It's a sweet little thing but shy so we will love for it to find a good home" River said with a warm smile.

Sage crouched down to meet Eevee's gaze as definitely didn't need another Eeveelution on her team but she didn't want to leave Eevee behind.

(Scene Change)

Sage was standing at the entrance of the orphanage with River as Sage saw so many Pokemon in the orphanage but none of them interested her except for Eevee.

Just as Sage was about to make a decision on what Pokemon she wanted, her attention was drawn to a commotion near the far end of the room.

A small, puppy-like Pokémon with green fur bounded into view as it's movements was lively but with an otherworldly grace as It exuded a faint, ghostly energy that made the room feel cooler.

What kind of Pokémon is that?" Sage asked in shock and curiosity.

That's Phantuff who is a Grass/Ghost type and a extremely rare Pokemon that is hard to find in the Kanto region due to it's species nearly on the brink of extinction from having territorial battle against another Pokemon" River said.

Sage Rotom Phone displayed Phantuff information which greatly intrigued Sage.

Name: Phantuff

Type: Grass/Ghost

Description: This rare Pokémon is known for its playful yet eerie nature but when provoked this Pokemon will release a bone chilling ghost energy blast that can make the opponent see their worst nightmares.

Sage was in deep thought as she didn't like anything paranormal but she couldn't leave Phantuff here as Sage made her decision as she looked at River and said.

I would like to adopt Phantuff and the Eevee" Sage said as she smiled brightly.

A wonderful choice. Both are very special Pokémon and i'm sure they'll find a great home with you" River said kindly.

Sage nodded as her heart was swelling with affection for the Pokémon she had just met as she couldn't wait to bond with Phantuff and she had a very special place to send Eevee until Sage was ready to put the fluffy Pokemon on her team.

River led Sage to a small room where she could fill out the adoption forms and soon after, Sage had completed the paperwork fhe Eevee and Phantuff were officially hers.

Sage walked out of the Orphanage with a smile as she was holding her new Pokémon in her arms as Sage felt happy that she made some Pokemon happy by giving them a home.
