Metapod, you may not have a lot of attack power yet but Harden can make you a good defensive option." Sage as she smiled knowing Metapod would eventually evolve into a powerful Butterfree who would bring even more abilities to her team.
Finally, Sage brought up Charmander's stats as she was curious to learn about her starter Pokemon moveset.
Charmander - Fire Type
Moves:
Scratch: A quick, physical attack.
Growl: Lowers the opponent's attack power.
Ember: A Fire-type move that has a chance to burn the target.
Charmander, Ember is going to be really useful against those Rock-types in Brock's Gym" Sage said as she rubbed her starter Pokemon head making Charmander release a ember attack in happiness.
With her team's strengths and moves clear in her mind, Sage felt a renewed sense of readiness as her Rotom Phone buzzed and displayed a map that highlighted the path to Pewter City's Pokémon Center where she could rest and prepare her team.
