Amortentia

Calli stood over the cauldron, a slow, satisfied smile spreading across her face.

It shimmered.

Perfectly.

Amortentia

The most powerful love potion in existence.

Dangerous.

Beautiful.

The surface glowed with that unmistakable mother-of-pearl sheen, light catching and shifting across it like liquid silk. Steam rose in soft, spiraling tendrils, curling lazily into the air.

Calli leaned in, very carefully and breathed in.

Fresh rain.

Woodsmoke.

Hot chocolate.

Fred.

Of course.

Her fingers tightened briefly around the edge of the cauldron before she straightened again, composure slipping neatly back into place like it always did.

"Perfect." She murmured and scribbled something in the margin of her Advanced Potion Making book.

The disused bathroom looked entirely different today.

Warmer.

Livelier.

Small boxes neatly wrapped by Stella, slightly chaotic by Lucy were stacked along the sinks. A few enchanted decorations hovered lazily near the ceiling, flickering with soft color.

April first.

The twins' birthday.

The last of them to come of age.

Calli glanced around the room, a quiet sense of pride settling in her chest.

She had planned this.

Every detail.

At her request, the house-elves had already delivered trays stacked with Fred and George's favorite things, tucked neatly to the side and covered with warming charms.

They had been more than happy to help.

Calli's gaze drifted back to the potion.

Thoughtful now.

Focused.

"Ideas..." She murmured, tapping her finger lightly against the rim of the cauldron.

A product.

Something new.

Something that felt like Amortentia, but less dangerous.

Something they could sell.

Footsteps echoed faintly somewhere in the distance.

Calli didn't turn immediately.

Instead, she reached for a vial, carefully siphoning a small amount of the potion into it, watching the way it swirled.
