Chapter Fourteen

The next day rolled around and I didn't wake up until 12:00 in the afternoon. Matthew walked in my room and I sat up in bed.

"Hey sleepy head." He smiled.

"Hey."

"I made some lunch do you want some?"

"Yes please."

"Okay. I will be right back."

"I can get up and do it." I said.

"Don't bother. I got this. I stayed here today to take care of you now let me do that."

"Fine."

He walked out of the room and my phone buzzed. I reached over to my dresser and unplugged my phone. I had one new message from Harry. It said -"hey beautiful;) How are you feeling today?"-

I smiled and replied back. -"okay. Just woke up though."-

-"would it be okay if I came over later?"- He asked.

-"Yea it is only Matt and I."-

-"Are you sure he likes me?"-

-"Yes Harry it will be fine. I promise."-

-"okay is it okay if I come over in about an hour or so?"-

-"perfect I will see you then:)"-

Matthew returned then and handed me a plate of food.

"Is it okay if Ethan comes over in about a hour?" I asked.

"That guy from the hospital?"

"Yes."

"I don't care. As long as you promise not to do anything stupid."

"What do you think I am a hooker?" I asked.

"I just know how teenage guys think."

"Ethan isn't a normal teenage guy though Matt."

"That's what I'm afraid of." Then he walked out of my room.

I ate all of my food. Then I got up and grabbed my crutches. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Then I wrapped my hair in a messy bun on the top of my head. I didn't even bother changing though. I still had on my pajamas which were booty lace black shorts and a pink t-shirt. I applied mascara but that was all I put on. I hopped into the living room and sat on the couch.

"You are not wearing that are you?" Matthew asked.

"Yea. Why?"

"Charlie go change out of those shorts."

"Matt you are not dad. It is only Ethan he won't do anything."

"I'm not so sure. The way he looked at you yesterday..."

"We are not even dating yet. We are just talking. We haven't even kissed yet."

"I am not letting you wear those shorts with him here."

"I'm not changing Matt. I promise it is fine."

"If dad knew about this I would get in serious trouble."

"We'll then dad doesn't need to know. He doesn't care about me anyway. It is okay. Just calm down."

We watched an episode of Supernatural together until we heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I yelled.

Harry walked in and smiled at me.

"Hello Ethan." Matthew said.
