"Are you alright young lady, you look quite pale?" The taxi driver said to me as I sat down sighing flicking through my bag to make sure I had my purse to pay him otherwise I'd be stuck.

"Oh yeah. I'm fine just stuff-- it's happening in my life at the moment." I smiled finally finding my purse and feeling really relieved. "Hey any chance we could take a quick route for a little money bonus? I have class in 25 minutes."

"Sure, I know a shortcut." He laughed.

I just got there with 2 minutes to get to Psychology. If only it was my late day where I didn't have class until 12! That would have been nice, now this whole thing feels like a one night stand. When I certainly didn't want it to be like that. At all.

"Jenna! Where have you been? I didn't see you in dorm or breakfast this morning." Lily moaned as I sat down beside with 30 seconds to spare.

"I got up for an early breakfast - got first pick of waffles, Mmm... Then I had a sit outside because uh well it'll be winter in like a month and it was fairly warm this morning." I smiled surprisingly covering my back well.

"Ah well let me know next time I was good waffles." Lily pouted as I got my books out and I saw Miss start to talk to the class and I knew we'd have to shut up for a bit now, luckily.

"I can hear you ringing I'm just supremely busy..." I spoke to myself as I carried all my folders back from the paper into my office and I heard the ringing from my phone stop. It had rung about 3 times up just between the distance of me collecting articles and my office - 10 feet.

"Oh ringing... Surprised am I?" I mumbled as my phone rang again. "I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm coming." I said tapping the button and answering the phone.

"Hey." Matt said calmly.

"Oh hey..sorry I didn't answer I-- didn't know it was you. I would of answered otherwise." I laughed to myself as I rambled on to him.

"That's alright. Are you busy?" Matt asked.

"I'm good." I smiled sitting down at my desk. "So...you wanted to talk?" I asked unsure of what to say really.

"Yeah are you okay?"

"Yeah. I just realized that, uh, you know, when I came last night, I was, um, a little distracted."

"Hey, no big deal." Matt said sounding kind of hurt.

"Uh, no, no, it really was a big deal. I just, um --" It was like I could see him desperately crawling away from the phone embarrassed. I didn't mean to phrase it like this or was coming out all wrong.

"Seriously, you don't need to --"

"We had sex." I laughed leaning back on my chair and thinking about it. He went completely silent I didn't hear a word come from him. "You and me, we had sex." I repeated.

"I remember." He said.

"And it was...unexpected." I hummed.

"Jenna, relax. I'm fine if you want to just forget it ever happened, really." Matt sounded really hurt and sad and I completely went about this all the wrong way.

"No, I don't want to forget it ever happened. It was great." I smiled fiddling with the zip on my leather jacket.

"Yeah?" He said proudly.

"Yeah...but things are more complicated than that--" I heard someone knock on my door. "Just a minute." I called out.

"You're busy, we can discuss this later." Matt confirmed but he didn't sound angry in fact he was happy that I wanted to actually discuss the possibility of us.

"No no it's just the paper, nothing important." I begged.

"It's important to you. I'll call you tonight?" Matt laughed as I finally gave in. "Talk soon." He said before hanging up.

"Come in." I smiled as they knocked on my door again. Oh and it had to be my worst nightmare come true. Richard came strolling through the door and sat down opposite me. "Anything I can do to help you?" I snapped.

"Yes actually, I was wondering if we could speak about something. I need to ask you something in private." Richard leant forward on my desk.

"Um we're in private now." I chuckled lightly.

"Alright. How are you?" Richard said leaning back on the chair carefully and staring at me intently.

"I'm fine, get to the point." I snapped.

"The people contacted me about Maisie's headstone." Richard came forward leaning his elbows on my desk.

"Wow we just jumped right on in there." I swallowed sudden feeling very upset within the second.

"We've left it too long and they need one." Richard said slowly placing a hand on top of mine. I never chose one in the first place because I was too depressed and now it just brought sadness on the day I finally thought I could move on.

"Right." I hummed.

"I've asked the school and I've booked you off school from Wednesday until Sunday as I thought we'd go and stay with my parents--" he said and I scowled at him. "Or in a hotel and then pick the headstone and go and visit her and there's a church service being said for her on Sunday which is why I say Sunday and not Friday."

"Okay, that sounds perfect." I smiled.

"Jenna." Matt answered the phone happily. "I'm coming home tomorrow night, I thought I'd swing round yours the next morning take you to breakfast and we could talk properly."

"Oh Matt, somethings come up and I have to go away for a bit. Just a few days. I swear it's nothing really bad." I moaned packing my rucksack that night knowing I had modelling tomorrow night and I would be too tired to pack then.

"You're not avoiding me?" Matt chuckled.

"That's the last thing I would do! I just have to go and I won't be back until Sunday." I smiled.

"Alright." He agreed.

"I'm tired but I'll tell you more about it when I get back. I'd call you tomorrow but im busy all day and all night. But Sunday night im back and I'll take you to dinner." I smiled. "Promise."

"More like I'll take you to dinner." Matt laughed before we said our goodbyes and we both hung up. I felt extremely warn out and tired and just wanted to sleep now knowing tomorrow was going to be long.
