"Jenna." Violet climbed on me at like I don't know but a ridiculous time in the morning. I'm so used to sleeping in and she wakes up early like everyday.

"Mmm." I hummed turning over.

"Are you awake?" She asked.

"I am now." I smiled at her as she stood next to the bed and I rested my head on the pillow to face her. "What do you want?" I asked as kindly as possible.

"Can I watch tv?" She said quietly.

"Yes you can watch tv." I quickly smiled before closing my eyes again but seeing her run off to the other side of the room and hearing the tv going on and sound of children's tv.

I closed my eyes ready to sleep again or at least rest for a bit when I heard Richard starting to stir. I thought he was a pretty deep sleeper but I must of woken him up.

I had my eyes closed hoping he would think I was asleep and leave me alone but instead I felt his lips land on mine and I kissed back so I gave it away that I was awake.

"Ah don't play with me Coleman." He chuckled before getting out of bed and slipping his clothes on.

"Jenna Jenna Jenna." I heard Violet squeak suddenly and appear by the bed.

"Yes?" I hummed opening my eyes for good now and sitting up in bed.

"Is my second name going to be Coleman now mummy and daddy are married?" She wondered.

"Uh was that not already your second name Hun?" I asked.

"No, I'm Violet Jones." She mumbled.

"Well I don't know. Did mummy not tell you?" I asked her.

"No. Are we proper sisters now and not half sisters?" Violet got all excited as I went to the closet and pulled out my dressing down I was wearing when I had my make up done for the wedding yesterday and put that on because I was only in shorts and a strap top. "And will you come to live with us now?" She said quickly.

"Violet I'm afraid that it doesn't work that way." I said lifting her onto the bed and then sitting next to her. "We're half sister because We share the same daddy." I smiled. "My mummy isn't Rachel." I hummed and she looked up at me weirdly.

"But mummy can be your mummy if you want." Violet said innocently.

"It doesn't work like that either." I told her.

"But you will come to live with us now or are you going to live with your mummy?" Violet grumbled like a stroppy teenager and I was pretty shocked that it came out of her mouth.

"Look Violet please. My mums not here. We've been through this I live at my school with my friends." I said to her because she was making me look like the bad guy here.

"Violet." Richard said slowly. "Why don't we stop bothering Jen and we ask your mum those questions?"

"Yes exactly," I smiled at Richard painfully. He then helped her to get dressed and sat her with her iPad in the corner happily playing until we got ready.

"What's the problem?" Richard confronted me as I was coming out of the shower.

"Dad and Rachel keep leaving me to answer all the difficult questions. It's not fair, she's not my daughter! I didn't mess up her life." I grumbled at him trying desperately to keep my towel in place.

"Nobody has messed up her life, it's just a little more complicated than it was before. Look I explained to her while you were in the shower why you don't live at home. She gets it. Now go tell Rachel that she needs to be telling her daughter the right information." Richard lectured me.

"I know. I shouldn't be taking it out on her or you. I'll speak to Rachel when she gets back from her honeymoon. I don't want to send her off annoyed." I smiled at him.

"Okay, smiling. I like to see that." He kissed me gently.

"And you've got everything you need? Cash for food and stuff and the fridge at home has the essentials." Rachel said to me as I had driven them to the airport for their holiday.

"Yes. We have everything we need." I smiled at her. "Richard took Violet home and I'm going there straight away now."

"So are you two..."

"No, we're just friends." I laughed at her. "Have a good time." I said to dad before quickly hugging him.

"Is that boy staying with you all week?" He asked suddenly sounding concerned and I realised that maybe that was a little weird.

"Oh I don't know. I don't think so, he'll want to go home at some point." I smiled at dad quickly.

"Alright, it's just I don't won't any funny business around Violet okay? She's 6 and not ready for boyfriend drama and other adult things alright? I know he a nice guy, he's Maisie's dad so we trust him." Dad smiled putting an arm around Rachel.

"There's no..other adult things dad. We're friends." I mumbled.

"Ok fine." He kissed my cheek before we said our final goodbyes and I went off back to the car as I'd only parked in the drop off area of he airport.

"I'm home." I said walking into the house and calling to, hopefully Richard and Violet, who were meant to be here. "Guys?" I said a little uncertain as I couldn't hear anything.

"We're here." Richard said appearing in the kitchen as he'd walked in through the back door. "Sorry we were outside Violet wanted to play because it's a pretty nice day--"

I interrupted him by kissing him wrapping my arms around his neck. "God I've missed you." I mumbled as we broke the kiss breathless.

"Richard come and watch me on the trampoline." Violet said out of breath from all the bouncing she'd already been doing. He looked at me a little tired like he wanted to stay here with me.

"Go on. Have fun." I laughed pushing him towards the back door. "I'll be out in a minute I'm going to get changed, I shouldn't have worn a long sleeved top." I scoffed.

"Be quick." He pecked my lips before stepping outside and I saw him pick violet up and holding her really high and she giggled until he placed her down on the trampoline.
