"You went behind my back again?" I yelled at dad as he suddenly announced he had been talking to Kate and Victoria about what exactly had gone on after the crash.

"Why can we just discuss things with her Dave?" Rachel asked. "You always have to get your background check from a Doctor or therapist."

"Thank you!" I rolled my eyes. "Someone gets me." I smiled.

"I get you Jenna but I have to double check these things. How do I know you'll tell me everything." Dad sighed.

"You should trust me! I'm not 5 I will not lie to you. I do not need silly secrets." I huffed.

"Alright alright." Rachel tried to calm and defuse the anger. "Can we talk about this calmly?"

"So you self harmed?" Dad blurted out.

"Yes, okay."

"Be a little more sensitive Dave." Rachel scolded him and I smiled gently at her for being so kind.

"Lily can't walk. She hit this breakthrough recently, she felt tingling and started having lessons to walk but she comes crying every week that she things she'll never walk again." I sighed.

"But she might walk again Jenna come on." Dad tried to cheer me up.

"That's not the point I made her that way. I've put her through absolute hell. God violet could have been in that crash, she almost was if I hadn't have dropped her off home." I sniffed,

"Oh Jen."

"I think I better explain what has happened over the last few months." Richard sighed. he was invited back over when Jenna stormed upstairs and hadn't made an appearance in a long while. Dave called Richard to find out a little more.

"We saw the scars." Dave admitted. "I think I just freaked out and went to Victoria because we were afraid."

"She's almost perfect. She had stopped the harming and the shouting and arguing with me. A small set back when Lily phoned her but she's almost there. I would even go as far as to say she's back to normal...almost." Richard explained.

"She's never here, we know nothing about her life anymore." Rachel and Dave protested.

"She said she was going to make the effort to come home more often but that was before the crash and to be honest I do not blame her. Jenna will spend more time at home when she's at uni. You'll see more of her, she's becoming an adult and she'll want her family around when her friends and I piss her off." Richard joked.

"I think we should visit more also. See how she's doing--"

"Yeah and you can come and see her." He nodded. "Want me to speak to her now?"

"If you could at least get her to eat something." Dave moaned.

"Hey." Richard walked into my room as I was sorting through some boxes. We were moving house, well, Dad, Rachel and Violet were anyway and they needed to see if any of my stuff could be thrown away because they need the room. They've got another child on the way.

"Hey what are you doing here? They call in some more support?" I joked.

"No, they called me to explain to them what is going on with you recently." He smiled sitting down beside me.

"And you blurted it all out like it was your secret to tell?" I mocked rolling my eyes dramatically and threw some stuff into another box.

"It is my secret to tell when your safety was in danger just a few months ago when you were sick." Richard snapped and did not expect him to come out with that. I didn't expect him to be annoyed with me.

"Alright alright. You're right I'm wrong. Go on lecture me." I scoffed rolling my eyes and searching around to start packing to go to Lily's.

"I don't want to lecture you, I'm your boyfriend-- What are you doing now?" He sighed.

"I need pack, I'm going to Lily's in three days and I need to pack. For university and for her place." I moaned and then felt bad for mentioning it.

"I'll help." He said changing the subject completely and making a total change in mood. He knew how to calm it or make me nervy and anxious, Richard knew me.

"I'm sorry, I'll be home in 4 weeks. I'm sorry this summer was so shit." I laughed with dad and Rachel and Richard was saying goodbye to violet, I had just explained why I'm leaving again.

"Summer wasn't all that bad. We had our fair share picnics and days out. Just because we don't have any fancy holiday means nothing." Rachel tried to encourage me.

"We want to see you more often, if you're not busy doing work. See you in 4 weeks." Dad smiled at me and I smiled back gently.

"Bye v." I said but we didn't make a big thing about me leaving because violet gets so upset about people leaving, she will sob for hours when the postman leaves, let alone her own sister.

"Hey!" Richard and I said as we turned up on Lily's doorstop smiling at her.

"Jenna." She smiled all excited, still in her wheelchair when we thought she'd be cured by now.

"Where are your parents?" Richard asked as Lily and I hugged for ages.

"Holiday. In fact the whole family is on holiday but I refuse to go because the hassle of disabled plane and hotel and everything. I can't deal with all that stress when my mum blames me for not going to this hotel because it has no disabled access." She huffed.

"Ah."

"Yeah so I said I'd stay at home and chill out, have a few friends round. I got you two guys a room up stairs and I also I applied to be together in dorms this year. Hopefully because I'm in a wheelchair they'll let me be with you because I'll claim I can't push myself." She laughed.

"Good, I need to share with you. How about Matt?"

"Yeah we've asked for him to be in our dorms as well. How exciting. All of us together without anyone yelling for boys to leave girls rooms and vice Versa." She moaned.

"Oh yeah finally have a boy in our room." I giggled.
