"Toss me that book?" I said pointing to the other side of the room at the bookshelf that was almost empty. I had a box in front of me and I was packing things up to take home."Here you go." Matt said handing it to me as I packed it away carefully.
We were all going home next week. Crazy to think that this was our last week at ashford. We'd be in the university in just a few months.
Matt was helping me pack and I was helping him. Then we were helping Lily together because it's hard to pack while you're in a wheelchair. Even though apparently she took a step on her own the other week. I try to not pay attention, it hurts.
Richard went home after the party we had on Maisie birthday and so I was driving home and stopping by his house on the way back. I think the plan was that he was going to come and visit me but he's in a wheelchair now so I'll probably end up coming up for the weekend.
"Your room was a lot easy to pack. I thought a girl would have more things." Mart shrugged.
"I do, I just organise it near enough that I can pack up easier." I smirked.
"Oh she got you there." Lily laughed as she spectating from the door way.

"Hey how is everything here? You got someone helping you out?" I asked as Richard and I sat in his living room having a conversation. I was on my way home and stopped by to say goodbye.
"I have the maids, my sister and mum helps more than you think she would." He smiled but you could tell he wasn't all there. Part of him just wasn't there anymore.
His happy side and jokey side had disappeared because of this accident. I never mentioned anything anymore because I didn't want to upset him.
"I'm to be back on my feet by next week, so I might make my Spain holiday. Then I was thinking you could come with." He winked across at me. "As long as you don't mind being with an old man because I have to use a walking stick for a little while."
"I think I'll put up with it. Who are you going with? Family?" I asked.
"No, way." He scoffed. "I'm going with the boys."
"Then there's no point in me being there." I laughed.
"Oh don't be so sour, of course there's point in you being there. You make everything better." Richard stated and rolled his eyes at me. I was going to take offence but then he complimented me so...
"When will I see you next anyway? Should I come down to you? I don't want you travelling down to me when you're sick." I explained to him.
"It's alright. I was thinking about going away with just you anyway? Maybe New York? I don't know, anywhere. I thought a city break would be best this year." He smiled excited.
"It's a plan." I grinned.
"And come away with me and guys from uni, it'll be so fun, they love you anyway." Richard tried to persuade me
"Alright, I will think about it." I laughed.

"Violet." I shouted In a funny way as I walked in the house and instantly lifted her up in the air and then brought her down to my side. She was 7 now but still light as a feather and so lifting her was fun.
"Jenna!" She smiled wrapping her arms around her neck and latching onto Jenna giggling and laughing with her.
"So I heard you're moving house, are you excited?" I asked her.
"Yes! I can get my own room and paint it pink and the baby can have a room and you can have a room!" Violet grinned.
"The..."
"Violet, what did we say about that surprise. We were meant to wait." Rachel moaned at her as Dad joined her and they went and sat down in the kitchen.
"Baby?"
"I'm pregnant." Rachel smiled. "We're having another kid."
"That's why we're moving?" I asked.
"Partly, plus there isn't a lot of room for anything." Dave added. "We wanted to tell you sooner but we only found out recently and with the accident and Maisie birthday we thought it best to leave it and have good news rather than you be angry or upset.
"That's really nice. I'm really happy for you. Do you know the gender?"
"I think we won't find out and it be a surprise." Rachel nodded.
"That's a nice way to do it. I think it's really cool for you to just have the kid and then focus on the surprise of the gender and what clothes to get it and all that." I smiled.
"Yeah, well violet wasn't a surprise. I knew she was a girl so I think we won't find out this time." Rachel added.

"So how do you feel about mummy being pregnant huh?" I grinned talking to violet after dinner whilst babysitting her.
"There's going to be another little boy to girl." She nodded as if she was the smartest thing in the world and was giving all the facts to me.
"Yeah and you're going to be a big sister like me. So you've got to look after the baby." I smiled.
"Did you look after me as a baby?" Violet asked.
"I didn't know you until you were three so I looked after you from then on. But you'll know him or her from the very beginning and you can look after them while their a baby."
"Cool" she smiled.
"Very cool. You're going to get your own room and I heard that the new house has room for me as well? Maybe I can come down more often and see you." I played with her.
"Yes! Please come home more." Violet added. "I miss you."
"Oh I miss you too and I will try and visit more." It was when I came home that I realised how much I missed being at home with dad. Then violet and Rachel made coming home even better. I do miss it loads and I hope now I'm going to uni I'll be able to come home more often.
