The ringing didn't stop no matter how many times I hit it or threw pillows at it. It just didn't bloody stop. So I pulled myself up from the bed and sheets and pillows and grabbed my phone and quickly answered in."Hello?" I grumbled.
"Jen? It only took you like 5 phone calls. Must have been a goodnight huh?" Richard said down the phone. The minute I heard his voice I just hung up.
It sounds silly but I just slammed the phone down and sighed deeply. Then it rang again.
"Sorry must of cut off." I groaned.
"Yeah sure." He scoffed. "We're going out tonight don't suppose you wanna come with? Some of my mates don't believe I have a girlfriend." Richard sighed as he was clearly with other people.
"Oh I don't know." I said getting out of bed. "Where to?"
"Pub and club." Richard nodded. "The one you went to."
"I don't know if I can handle two days in a row." I laughed putting some more clothes on.
"If anyone could handle two days it would be you. Come on." He encouraged.
"Maybe."
"Pre drinks at mine at 9 o'clock." He said before hanging up the phone because he probably knew I would try and back out of it. I hadn't seen Richard in what felt like forever but was actually like a day.

"Hey how are you doing?" I asked Lily as I saw she was sat on the sofa with Grace.
"Should be asking you that." Lily scoffed.
"No seriously. How did the appointment go?" I nodded going and boiling the kettle. I needed a coffee right now.
"She predicts I could be walking by half term on my own. And then fully walking by Christmas. So I might need that bloody chair for a little while but then bye bye chair." She said all excited.
"Thats great! Have you told Matt?" I asked. But all went silent and I looked at grace for some sort of response.
"She's mad at Matt." Grace nodded.
"Why?"
"He said he would come back before 2am. You guys didn't come back until gone 4. I was worried." Lily sighed.
"Why aren't you angry at me too? I said I'd come back at midnight." I scoffed.
"Because you deserve some fun and you're not my boyfriend who promised me." Lily rolled her eyes.
"Okay fair enough." I smiled. "It was kinda my fault though. I had a little bit too much and then encouraged everyone else."
"He could have left anyway that's in the past. I'm waiting for him to wake up now and apologise." Lily sighed. "You had a good time though?"
"Great time." I smiled because with everything that went on before the summer, it was important that I wasn't going to be all depressed again and Lily, Matt and Richard were all looking out for signs of that.
They told me they had forgotten about the harming and self punishment but I watched their eyes when they look at the scars on my arms. I watched grace and Holly's eyes when I wore something without sleeves last night.
I was obviously very conscious about it but it was a thing of the past and it's going to go away soon hopefully. The scars on my stomach though, god knows if they'll ever heal.
I just hope we don't have to go swimming any time soon because I only own bikinis.

"Hey." I kissed Richard as I walked into this dorm. "You okay? You look flustered?"
"Surprised you turned up that's all." He laughed placing an arm around me and then kissing my cheek again. I had tasted the alcohol on his breath but now I could really smell it.
"Guys you know Jenna." Richard said walking us into the kitchen. I nodded at some of his flat mates from last year. "And uh this is Cara, Daniel and Kayleigh."
"Hey." I nodded at them all. "Jenna." I introduced myself. Cara was beautiful, she really was stunning, blonde brown hair and really nice makeup, natural but not too much. Kayleigh was similar except deep brown hair darker than mine.
I subtly stared at the three of them. Daniel was just your average 19 year old really. Dark blonde hair, same sort of haircut as Richard and the same sort of style as him as well. He wasn't as hot as Richard though.
"Nice to meet you." Cara smiled at me.
"You too." I nodded and then returned to the conversation I was being included into as Richard had his arm around me and was talking about me.
"I just want to get it out there to you guys..." one of Richard old friend who I knew quite well, Ryan, started directing this at the new flat mates they had acquired. "...these two have a weird ass relationship."
We all laughed at that. Especially me, I knew it was true that's why.
"Yeah." Richard nodded.
"By weird we don't mean that weird." I interrupted.
"Pretty strange though, you had a kid together." Ryan laughed.
"Yeah we did." I nodded and then turned away. "She didn't quite make it but hey let's not talk about that."
"Yeah let's change the subject. What are you studying?" Cara asked me.
"English."
"Ah cool." She smiled. "I'm doing art and textiles."
"Ah wow." I nodded. "That's cool." And then we sort of just started our own whole conversation amongst ourselves. Oh well we had a lot to talk about. This girl and the other two newbies ended up knowing more about me than my own flat mates did.
We didn't go out that night. Just stayed in had a few drinks and chat and then stayed the night at Richards dorm cause I didn't want to walk back at 2am.
