"Lily! Lily wait please I just want to talk to you." I shouted after her in the dead of night where I'd forgotten to take a jacket. I heard her sigh and she turned on the spot to face me, she'd been crying.

"Were you ever going to tell me?" She yelled standing a far distance away from me still.

"Of course I was, I was waiting for the right time. Things had been good, no arguments nothing! Please believe me when I say I wanted to tell you. We both like discussing boys, I just thought this particular one was harder." I said taking a step closer to her.

"When did it happen?" She mumbled.

"Uh about 4 weeks ago..." I hummed.

"See!"

"See what? Look please listen to me let me explain." I moaned at her desperately.

"Fine go ahead."

"I'd hate it if you got with Richard so I'm giving you a choice. You can go on hating me and this relationship or I'll break up with him and we forget this thing ever happened. Things go back to how they were and we forget it." I told her.

"Either way you won't be happy." Lily laughed shaking her head angrily. "I'm not saying you can't be with him. It's just going to be hard at first. I don't understand it, I've got all these thoughts in my head... Did he ever really love me? Was he interested in you the whole time we were dating? Was he lying to me?"

"Oh Lily of course he loved you, he still loves you. But we're trying this out. You two broke up because you had a disagreement not because you fell out of love." I smiled. "You'll get over him I promise."

"Are you over Richard?" She asked stepping closer to me.

"Uh, yeah." I sighed slowly and deeply thinking about it. "I mean that's not happening again, he told me even if I came back crying he wouldn't date me again. I had my chance to be with him and I didn't take it. That was my decision." I shrugged my shoulders.

"I'm sure you and Matt are an adorable couple but I was just getting over him and now this..." She looked down at the floor.

"Well let us know when your ready and for now we'll keep things on a down low. No public displays of affection we've been doing it for a month already." I grinned quickly gripping her hand.

"Thank you Jen." Lily looked at me as if she was going to cry again so I just hugged her quickly and surprisingly she kept it together until we got back to dorm where I'm pretty sure I heard her cry before she went to sleep, even though the next morning she denied it.

And Lily did get used to it as we neared Christmas and only had 2 weeks left to go, she actually approved of him coming into dorm and spending our chill out nights with us, watching Arrow.

It got to a point where I was kissing him and snuggling up to him like a normal couple would do in front of her and I always talked to her about it and she said she's got used to the idea of us being a couple. And that actually we make a cute couple.

But classes were getting harder at A-levels and ignoring the advice I was given by my class teacher I was still doing 5 a-levels and the paper. I'd taken a step back from modelling as there weren't many jobs going this time of year. Companies had already done their Christmas shoots and weren't doing Spring or more winter wear yet.

I went in to work only about once or twice a fortnight for the last couple of weeks but I knew soon I'd be super busy with summer shoots.

My English class where I spent most of my time ignoring Matt because he would distract me from my work finished early and I rushed out of class hoping to get to the paper for 10 minutes before lunch.

I saw Richard walking towards me in the corridor but I just assumed he was going to walk straight pass. We hadn't spoken since my little meltdown almost two months ago now. Of course I didn't expect him to stop. "Hey." Richard said grabbing my arm in the corridor just as I thought he was gone.

"Hey, you alright? You look kind of uh sweaty...." I laughed nervously a little bit. "You nervous...?"

"Im fine, you free tonight?" He asked fast and panic like.

"Yeah, you sure you're alright?" I said holding his arm concerned.

"That place you love with the Italian couple that always argue, tonight around... 8? My treat." He looked at me and calmed down a little looking less panicked and more happy.

"Yeah sure. Is it fancy? Will you be wearing a suit?" I asked knowing the restaurant was pretty fancy in itself and if he dressed up and I dressed down it would be weird.

"Uh yeah shirt and tie." He confirmed.

"Okay, I'll see you tonight?" I smiled at him.

"Tonight." He replied slowly before dashing off to join his friends who were almost at the end of the long corridor and calling for him desperately.

"And he invited you to your favourite restaurant. The place where you had your first date?" Lily said walking around dorm searching for some earrings I asked her to find.

"Yeah I mean, it's nothing romantic he knows I'm with Matt, he wouldn't do anything like that to wreck things plus as far as I know he's still with Molly." I frowned slipping my heels onto my feet.

"That's weird and he didn't tell you why?" Lily said handing me the earrings.

"No, he just said he wanted to have dinner and talk. I don't know what It could be about other than Maisie. That's our only topic of conversation these days." I sighed. "But she's dead, what's there to discuss now?"

"Well I guess you'll find out keep me posted." She sighed.

"I will--" then suddenly there were voices outside the door and Lily and I shared a look.

"Hello?" I laughed opening the door to see Matt and Richard exchanging a heated conversation.

"This guy thinks he's taking you out to dinner tonight." Matt laughed kissing my cheek gently and walking in to dorm.

"He is." I smiled turning on the spot.

"Ha!" Richard bellowed at Matt making fun of him.

"Richard," I scowled at him "Lily fill him in please we should be going." I laughed pointing at Matt as he sat down beside Lily. "Bye." I smiled at them both before quickly leaving with Richard. "I'm sorry about that--" I apologised quickly.

"Hey it's okay I'd do it too if I was your boyfriend." He smirked.

"So mysterious dinner." I smiled sitting across from him in the fancy restaurant feeling pretty posh as the waiters laid our napkins on our laps as we stared at the menu.

"Yeah I'll get to that." He smiled gently.
