I'm so on top of updates right now, it's really exciting.

"Hi." Richard said standing there as I opened the door. I instantly swung my arms around his neck and laughed as I felt his arms come round to back and hold me there on my toes, the height difference was bad.

"I thought you'd forgotten." I mumbled holding him tight and my laughing from being so glad to see him turned into crying. "I'm sorry." I said wiping under my eyes and faking a smile as I stood back from his hug.

"How could I forget this, Ace?" Richard said and that kind of tipped me over the edge. "No, don't cry, I didn't mean for you to do that--" he stuttered getting all stressed as I started to sniffle in front of him.

"You didn't arrange anything or text me and I just thought you'd-- you're not staying..." I suddenly changed my happy sentence to the realisation he wasn't in this for the whole day.

"Well-- umm--"

"You're dressed all fancy, are you going out?" I asked him gently but inside I was a little jealous that he couldn't put off a date for his daughters birthday.

"Look--"

"Don't lie, I know when you're lying." I mumbled.

"It's charlottes wedding." He spat out eventually.

"Is that today?" I asked suddenly changing my tune.

"Yeah, and I knew I wanted to spend the day with you but it's my sister... And she'd be fuming mad if I wasn't at her wedding. Not to get started on the parents..." He rolled his eyes trying to make a joke of this and I closed the door as he'd walked into dorm by now.

"Oh that's okay. I don't need someone to sit with me. When do you have to go?" I asked gently sulking a little bit.

"The wedding starts In a few hours but I was just going to go to the after party thing. I can't be bothered with churches." He sighed.

"You should see your sister get married." I laughed at him. "You should go, I don't mind, honestly." I said raising my eyebrows and offering him a smile to show I was okay.

I could see he was processing the whole thing and suddenly he came out with "Come with me."

"What?"

"Come with me. You got an invitation right? Even if you didn't, you can be my plus one. We'll have loads of fun, and there's alcohol there..." He sung the end of his sentence.

"Even if I was to agree to a ridiculous plan like that, I don't have anything fancy for a wedding." I moaned.

"Oh sure you do." He laughed walking into my room and opening up my wardrobe. "You have so many clothes." He scanned the rack of dresses.

"I still have clothes at home too." I laughed.

"How about this one?" Richard pulled out a black dress that I had worn to my birthday party in my first year here.

"It's black, nobody where's black to a summer wedding." I rolled my eyes.

"How about this?" Richard pulled another dress out and I shook my head. "When you model dresses do you not get to keep them?" He moaned at me suddenly.

"Well you didn't tell me you wanted those dresses." I said turning to my cupboard and on the door was all my modelling fancy dresses that went down to the floor. There was a few that he pulled out and didn't like so chucked them on my bed then he found a lilac one that was strapless so I said no and another that was yellow and flowed really nice.

"These are nice." He said suddenly. "You can wear this and come with me alright?" He said holding it up against me.

"I don't know." I grumbled.

"Jenna. I want to spend today with you. But if we mope about dorm do you really think anything is going to get better? Let's keep ourselves busy, go have fun." Richard said hanging the dress up and heading towards the door.

"Fine." I agreed finally.

"Get ready." He said pulling my door shut and I heard him go to the tv and start watching it as he waited for me.

In the end I didn't actually take that long to get ready. Though it did annoy Richard because I wasn't ready in ten seconds. "Ta da." I smiled walking out holding out the sides of the dress and doing like a fake little bow.

"You look great." He said hugging me quickly. "You're going to be fine today too... You tell me if you're not fine." Richard said reassuringly. "Let's get going."

The ride there wasn't too long, it was like into the next town basically and when we got to the church we only just made it in time for Richard to get a picture with his sister before she went in.

"She looks beautiful." I said standing next to Richard in my long yellow fancy modelling dress that trailed behind me on the grass as I walked. "I love her dress." I smiled holding onto his arm as we walked behind her and info the church where I thought we Might have to stand.

Suddenly Richards parents spotted him and pulled him over to one of the front rows and Richard pulled me with him. I felt uncomfortable but I ended up standing on the end and so I only had to sit next to Richard and none of his family.

They must be having a field day seeing us together again. Though I think his parents knew today was special and not just because Charlotte was getting married.

"That was such a nice ceremony." I said to Richard as we headed outside on the nicest day ever to the grassy area out front of the church.

"I know, must of cost Dad a fortune and there's still the party to come." Richard muttered to me holding my arm as he pulled me towards the exit.

We did watch them take photographs a lot of the time and Richard had to go and be in a few with his sisters but he came straight back to me afterwards.

"How are you feeling?" He asked gripping my hand.

"Okay."

"Really? Cause I'm not doing too good." Richard said gripping my hand tighter and staring at Charlotte as she held up her baby sister who was about a Two years old.

I looked over at her and smiled. "Hey you're meant to the tough one." I said leaning against his arm as he wouldn't let go of my hand keeping a brave face on.

He had four sister now, the youngest was born just before Maisie. Like a year before her and Richard never really got to see her much. Now it was just heartbreaking.
