"See, mummy and daddy are here." I said taking violets hands as she climbed out of her car seat and I shut the door and locked the car.

"Mummy!" She screeched running up to Rachel as hugging her as we had stopped off at this shopping centre which had a water park and a normal park there.

"I can't imagine what she's like when you leave her for more than an hour!" I complained to dad as I moved past Rachel.

"She's fine, usually. Why? Was she trouble?" Dad asked seriously.

"She cried because you left before us." I scoffed at him annoyed.

"Violet." Dad said bending down to her. "Why are you being rude around your sister?" He asked her and her face dropped.

"I'm not." She demanded.

"You cried and got upset even though Jenna told you we were meeting up again. Apologise to Jenna for being naughty." Dad said standing back up.

"No, dad-- it's--"

"Sorry." She huffed at me and I raised my eyebrows.

"Hey, v. Come here." I said bending down. "What's the problem ha? What can I do, to stop your face looking like that?" I asked examining her frowned face that looked like it was about to burst into tears.

"Don't leave." She scoffed.

"Leave?" I asked looking back at Rachel and dad. They both shrugged. "Why would I leave? I just got here." I laughed at her.

"Because you always leave. You come home and then a few days later you leave!" She huffed and went to Rachel and clung onto her leg burying her face so no one could see it.

"Oh v." I said standing up. "That's why she was scared when you left. She thought I was going to leave her too." I rolled my eyes going over to dad.

"Well, every time you see Violet it's for all of 5-10 days then you're gone again." Dad shrugged.

"I can't help it." I scoffed. "Come on, let's go get lunch or something. I don't want to talk about it anymore." I moaned walking ahead, I felt like suddenly everyone was attaching me and I had even got home yet!

"So when is your honeymoon?" I asked.

"The day after the wedding for 10 days, you are free to look after Violet aren't you? If not we do have some relatives or we can just hire a babysitter for a few days." Rachel said getting all panicky over the whole thing.

"I think I can handle her for 10 days." I scoffed as if it was the easiest task in the world. Except all Violet had done since I'd seen her was moan and cry at me. I still had hope though.

We were about to get back into the car and head home, actually home this time and I was scared Violet was going to start moaning again so I made dad come and strap her in to the car and say goodbye.

"You don't think I'm going to leave you, do you?" I asked glancing quickly at Violet as she was playing on her iPad.

"You always leave." She moaned flapping her arms about.

"That's because I have school. And mummy and daddy don't live close to it so I have to stay there. But I'm home for all of the summer now, I promise." I smiled across at her.

"Will I have to go away to school?" She asked.

"No, you can stay and live with mummy and daddy, that's okay. I just choose a school that was far away. But that was before I met you." I told her as we continued to drive on. I started to think whether I would have left home if violet had come into my life sooner. Would I have stayed at home because I had a family?

I wouldn't have met Lily, or Lucy or Olivia. Not Matt or Richard or Marty either. That would be weird they're my whole life now.

"Why do you have to go?"

"I'm not going yet. I'll answer that in 6 weeks when the summer is over." I smiled at her quickly and then changed the subject feeling bad on her and myself.

I had settled back into home life pretty quickly but home life was more like wedding life at the moment. With only two days until the wedding Rachel was stressed, dad was stressed and I was very close to stressed because of their moods.

I often had to take Violet away because she was annoying Rachel when she was trying to plan something but sometimes she made me do hard stuff like seating plans and last minute little alterations.

"Jenna please tell me your dress fits." Rachel pleaded as I was trying on the dress one last time the morning before we headed off to the hotel. We were going to a hotel and waking up tomorrow to the wedding at noon.

"It fits, Rachel. I promise." I said coming out of my bathroom and showing her that the dress fitted.

"You look pretty!" Violet squealed as I appears in the dress.

"Very pretty." Rachel said.

"Shouldn't she be with dad?" I asked Rachel.

"No, I wanted to make sure violets flower girl dress still fitted." Rachel smiled looking over at the dresses hung up on the wall, including Rachel's amazing dress.

I loved it, it was white, of course and it was a princess dress. She looked amazing in it and really slim. I loved it so much i wanted to wear it. Maybe after the wedding I'll ask to try it on but for now, I think I'd probably stain it or rip it.

"Violet let's put your dress on and stand next to your sister." Rachel fiddled around while slipping Violets dress on her. "You look amazing v."

"Come here." I said holding out my hand and she took and stood next to me. I was wearing the most amazing mint coloured dress that came down to the floor and was lacy at the top. And Violet wore a white poofy dress with a mint sash around the middle.

God knows why she chose mint but it looked amazing on me so I didn't complain.

"You two look fantastic." Rachel clapped her hands together excitedly. "And with my sister and my best friend, you'll be even better!" She said happily.

I was looking forward to this wedding, it was going to be a blast really. Even if I was going to have to see family that I hated.
