Getting back together

I managed to loose Richard and his stupid taxi, lying to him and saying I was going to get Lily before we left but actually I was texting Matt and looking for him.

"Oh thank god you're alright." Matt smiled instantly placing both hands around my waist and holding me close to him.

"Huh why wouldn't I be alright? I'm not in any danger..." I stared at his face. "Am I? Matt..am I in any danger what so ever?" I asked leaning away from him.

"Maybe." He mumbled.

"What?" I shouted.

"The guys got word that you're here and you're not with Richard anymore and so they might kinda think you're a target now Richards not there to help you." Matt explained.

"Target? What sort of target?" I shrieked pushing him away from me and standing back panicked.

"I don't know, assault? Rape? But it won't happen now because we're leaving." Matt smiled calmly.

"Ugh, well there's a taxi waiting for us round the front, let's go." I moaned at him pulling his arm to the front of the building and then pushing him towards the waiting car across the road.

"Come on, in." I moaned at him as I saw Richard was already in the car with Molly and I pushed Matt and myself in and then took a relaxed sigh. "Oh thank god."

"What's the worshiping of God for?" Richard laughed tapping my leg. I could see Molly was sat in the front and I was squeezed in the middle of Matt and Richard.

"Apparently now we're not dating, I'm a target." I then jabbed Matt in the side forcefully.

"Well that doesn't matter anymore we're going back." Richard sighed as he got all tense and angry as I spoke but then realised we were already driving towards Ashford. Which was a 5 minute walk down the alley but a 15 minute drive round the front entrance.

I chilled out and rested my head against Matt and smiled. The night was almost ruined with Lily's stupid phone call again. I swear I'm £40 down tonight and I haven't even had a drink. I guess it wasn't Lily's fault really, but I needed someone to blame.

"Uh we may have bad news." Molly said suddenly turning around to us after we'd been driving for a few minutes.

"What sort of bad news?" I leaned forward impatiently.

"Well depends on your definition of bad news but I'd say pretty bad. There's a black car that's been following us in every way down this little country road for the last 10 minutes." Molly looked panicked.

"Did you not think to mention this before?" Matt yelled suddenly.

"No because I didn't think they were following us until we reached the turning for Ashford." Molly snapped at him.

"Guys calm down." Richard laughed. Ugh now was not the time for jokes. "They said now we're not dating your a target, we just pretend we are for 5 minutes and they'll go away."

"They can't see us now." I moaned.

Molly looked across at the taxi driver and smiled gently. "So do you think you could drop us right up near the block of dorms instead of in the car park?" She asked him cutely. Oh she was good. The guy nodded and smiled back at her.

"Alright so you guys go back in, Matt and Molly, go to my dorm and meet us there. Jenna and I will get out the car together holding hands or something. It'll work." Richard shrugged his shoulders.

"Sounds like a decent plan to me." I nodded checking it was okay with Molly and Matt. They agreed and when we pulled up they both stood next to each other as if they were together and zipped towards Richards dorm, which was the closest.

Richard then got out before me and took my hand as I stepped out the taxi. Richard paid the guy as I watched the same two guys that had beat me up previously get out of their black car and walk towards me.

I can't say I wasn't frightened just for a little bit until Richard was stood next to me again and had his arm around me reassuringly. I have to say we make a convincing couple.

"Jenna?" One man called.

"What do you want with her?" Richard fought.

"Richard? We thought that the two of you had gone splitsville. And now you're holding hands?" The other man said stepping closer to us but they were still really far away.

"We got back together." I smiled but my voice quivered and I almost sounded unsure.

"Really?" The man asked in disbelief. Shit we'd been found out, I panicked at the first sign of danger.

"Yeah really and whatever you want with her guys back off, she's mine." Richard laughed as if he was just chatting to mate.

"You're really back together Richard?" The guy asked.

"If we weren't back together would I do this?" Richard said and I was not expecting him to grab me and start making out with me. I can't say I didn't enjoy it, I missed it so much. His lips just blended with mine so perfectly and I felt my body mould to his as we didn't come up for air.

The kiss went on for ages, when ever I thought he was going to stop he just pushed his lips harder against mine and continued it. But it did end eventually and he still had his arm around me as the guy agreed and got back in their car.

"Richard." I mumbled as we started to walk back into the building. "That was--"

"Incredible? I know." He laughed holding my hand and pulling me towards his dorm room to meet with the other two. How could he be so nonchalant and uncaring about this?

"We did it." I hummed letting go of Richards hand as we got to his dorm and greeted the other two. "It took some persuading but their gone." I smiled walking over to Matt.

I hugged him as this was usual for us so I didn't bring any suspicions of us dating to Richard and Molly. I glanced across at them and Richard kissed Molly slowly before asking her if she was alright. Their kiss was nothing compared to what we had just done.

"We are going to go." I heard Matt say holding my arm and pulling me towards the exit to Richards room.

"Alright, Jenna can I speak to you a second?" Richard asked before we left. I stepped to the side and Molly went out of the dorm with Matt to keep him company and left us alone.

"What did you want to talk about?" I asked looking down at the floor as I placed my hands in my pockets not really bringing up the courage to look him in the eye.

"Are you alright?" Richard grabbed my arm.

"Fine, yeah." I smiled finally looking up at him. "I should probably--"

"I know I said before that this was it for us and I hope that kiss before didn't get any ideas into your head, I'm still with Molly." Richard smiled I think he was trying to be polite and make a point but to me it just felt like he was insulting me.

"I didn't think--"

"I know, I just wanted to check. I still care for you though, you can always call me." He assured me holding my hand.

"Yeah thanks." I breathed not even saying goodbye, shrugging my hand away from his and leaving. "Matt lets go." I sniffed pushing him away from Molly.

"Bye Jenna." Molly called as I pulled Matt down the corridor in a rush to get away from Richard.
