(month six)

I'm currently sitting on the couch. Thalia is at school and Tobias is at work. Christina said she was going to come over today to tell me something. I'm too lazy to even care. There's a knock at the door.

"Come in." I yell.

The door opens and Chris comes in. She is wearing a very ugly sweater. Oh wait, I think that's Matthew's sweater. I'll have to ask. She takes a seat across from me. I sit up so I look professional.

"Hi." I said.

"Hi, so can you guess what my news is?" she asked.

"You got a another dog." I said.

"No, Noodle and Princess are a handful." she said.

"You got a whole new closet?" I said.

"Nope." she said.

"Your having a kid." I said.

"Bingo." she said.

"Really?" I ask.

"Yep, I'm super excited. Is childbirth scary?" she asked.

"Well, since it's your first time giving birth, it is. I have no clue if it will be scary a second time because, well, I haven't gave birth to my second kid yet." I said.

"Speaking of your kid. Is she a he or she?" she asked.

"She is a she." I said.

"Yay, another girl." she said.

"How far along are you?" I asked.

"Only about a month and a half. I told Matthew last night, and he almost fainted. When he goes his senses back, he was happy." she said.

"Oh, and is that Matthew's sweater?" I asked.

"Yep, how did you know?" she asked.

"Not to be mean, but it is very ugly." I said.

"It's just really comfy." she said.

"Looks comfy." I said.

"Is Thalia excited about the new baby coming?" she asked.

"She is, I told you this." I said.

"I know, but I'm making sure that she is still excited. I want a girl, but then I want a boy." she said.

"If you get both, then your problem is solved." I said.

"Twins, no, I am not going to be able to handle them." she said.

"I can barely keep up with Thalia. At least she has calmed down a bit. A year ago she was so hyper. Now she is kind of hyper, but is mostly tired." I said.

"School can do that to you." she said.

"Yeah." I said.

"It feels so weird." she said.

"what feels weird?" I asked.

"Just look at us. It felt like the other day I met you on that train." she said.

"Time goes by." I said.

"Sometimes I wish the attack never happened. And that we would be hear, but with everyone else and a faction system." she said.

"I'm kind of glad that the whole choose where you go at 16 is over. I don't want Thalia to leave me when she turns 16." I said.

"Yeah, that's the good thing." she said.

"What's the bad thing?" I asked.

"Not being able to meet new people." she said.
