Chapter thirty-six: Your not Damaged to me

Around noon, everyone leaves and it's just me and Tobias again. Right now we are sitting near the huge window.

It's still cloudy. It hasn't rained yet. The people on the TV say that it's supposed to rain. I don't really listen to them because they are always wrong.

"Do you think it's going to rain?" I asked.

"It might." Tobias said.

"It just feels so grey and depressing." I said.

"When is it not grey and depressing. At least we aren't out on the streets. Now if we were and it rained, that wouldn't be good." he said.

"Living on the streets? Look we are better than be factionless." I said.

"I heard that they call it homeless here." he said.

"Well, what ever they call it, we are better than that." I said.

"I know we are, and that's why we live here with a room mate who is going to be gone for a week and a half. Does that mean we have to water the plant?" he asked.

"Yes." I said.

"I don't want to water that thing. It's too much of Amity." he said.

"Well, I'll water it then since your too scared to show your Amity side." I said.

"I never had one." he said.

"Oh, yeah, sure you never had. Every one does. Just like Everyone has an Abnegation side, a Candor side, and sadly but true, an Erudite side." I said.

"Maybe Divergents, but not me." he said.

"But you are one." I said.

"Yeah, a genetically damaged one." he said.

"Oh my gosh, are you still not over that. Look those losers are were just trying to find a way to throw you off your tracks and make you think that your not a pure Divergent and that your not special. Well wake Tobias Eaton, you are special. You may not be special to everyone else, but you are to me." I said.

He was then speechless. He looked kind of shocked but then he looked concentrated. He always has that concentrated look when I make him speechless. Like really, you can't think of anything to say. But I guess that kind of was a big speech. Last time I said something similar to that was when I  told him about how he was whole and not damaged. After that, something happened in that room near the dormitory.

Note: Kind of a bleh chapter, but I will try to make the next one better. I'm just running out of ideas. And I had to reread chapter 41 to get that information about how she thought he was whole. My brother was laughing at me because I couldn't remember if they made out in a room or a storage closet.
