I smoothed the white material out with my hands, and took a deep breath. Today is the day I'm going to marry the love of my life. "You look beautiful." My mother complimented as her eyes filled up with tears.

"Thank you mom." I smiled and stepped away from the mirror to hug her.

"Ugh, we can't cry it will mess up our makeup." My mother said as she wiped away her tears with a smile. We both laughed.

"Oh my, Y/N your gorgeous!" My friend exclaimed.

"Only because of your awesome makeup skills." I said and she smiled proudly. I heard a knock on the door, the door opened and my dad stood there as her cleared his throat.

"It's almost time." He smiled. I got butterflies about the thought of marrying Shawn.

Flashback:

"Just do it." Shawn encouraged as he wiped the water off of his face.

"Okay stop sponsoring Nike, I can't just jump off of a cliff." I said looking down at the blue water below me.

"Your right, you can't just jump." He paused and I felt him place his hand on my back. "But you can be pushed." He shoved me off of the cliff causing me to scream, but when I landed in the water it felt amazing. "SHAWN PETER RAUL MENDES!" I exclaimed as I watched him laugh from the top of the cliff. When he finally stopped laughing he did a front flip off of the cliff into the water.

"See, it's not so bad." He said as he swam over towards me. He placed his hands on my hips and pulled me closer to him. His lips met mine and it was like the whole world stopped, nothing else mattered but this moment.

"I want to be able to not feel guilty when I look at you and want to kiss you, or get jealous whenever your cheating boyfriend comes over and you believe all of his lies. That should be, I love you way more than just a friend. I'm sorry, but I can't keep my feelings bundled up inside anymore." I watched as Shawn paced back and forth breathing heavily.

"Shawn, I love you." I blurted out. His worried eyes met mine, he walked over to me.

"Then kiss me." He whispered as his face inched closer to mine. I closed my eyes and felt his lips move in-sync with mine.

"I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want to kiss you goodnight and hold you until morning when I get to cook you breakfast in bed. But this can't happen if I don't ask you the right question. So, Y/N will you marry me?" I looked down at the diamond encrusted ring, and smiled as my hand covered my mouth. "Yes!" He spun me around and kissed me passionately as people clapped all around us.

The double doors opened and everyone stood up. I linked arms with my dad and walked down to Shawn. His smile was the most adorable thing ever, he took my hand and walked me up the steps. I stood in front of him and held his hand.

"Y/N, where do I begin? How about the time I knew I was in love with my best friend? I watched as you laughed when I hit you with a pillow, the way your laugh made me feel sparks all through out my body. That's when I knew that I wanted to be the one to make you laugh, to be the one who you wake up beside every morning with my arms wrapped around you. I knew that I would love you no matter what happened. And here I am, standing in front of you just seconds away from being able to call you Mrs. Mendes." Shawn's voice was shaky and his hands wouldn't stop shaking. I rubbed circles on his knuckles as I read my vows.

"Shawn, I remember when I first met you. You hit a baseball and it busted my window, I was about to yell at you and make you pay for a brand new window. But somehow I ended up talking to you for 3 hours while eating muffins. We have so many memories that if I were to tell them all we would be here until next Tuesday, so I will make it straight to the point. Shawn, I have loved you since I was 15. At the time I had no idea how much you would end up meaning to me. Here I am, 25 years old and I love you more than I did then. So now I would love to be able to kiss you and we can finally be a married couple." Shawn laughed a little and the crowd.

"You may now kiss the bride." Shawn dipped me down and crashed his lips on mine. I smiled through out the kiss, and finally pulled away remembering we were at church. "Well, I think it's time we go dance and get drunk, Mrs. Mendes." I laughed slightly and kissed his jawline.
