the warm liquid fell down my arms making my whole body go numb. the cold tile under me sent chill bumps all over my body. the sound of the door opening echoed throughout the empty house.
"Y/n?" I heard a familiar voice call out.
"Oh god." Aaliyah ran over to me with Ian. Ian's arms slid under my legs, he picked me up pressing me close to his body, I laid my head in the crook of his neck and breathed slowly. my eyes slowly closed as the sounds around me faded out.
"Y/n! Stay with me Y/n!" I opened my eyes a little to see Ian looking at me with tears in his eyes.
I felt someone's cold hand slip into mine. "Y/n, you have to stay strong." I heard Aaliyah say. That's all I can remember before I blacked out.
Shawn's pov:
I swirled the brown liquid in the glass cup as her last words ran through my head, "I'm not ready for this." Then she walked out. I took a swig of the liquid letting it burn my throat. All the girls I have ever loved never loved me back. I've always tried to find the right girl, and when I finally thought I did, I was wrong once again.
I felt my body crash onto the floor. "What the-," I looked up to see Ian looking at me with anger.
"You're really sitting in a bar feeling sorry for yourself when you best friend is in the hospital because of you?!" I looked at Ian confused. His hands griped fistfuls of my shirt as his jaw clenched as he pressed me up against a wall.
"What the hell are you talking about?" I asked confused.
"Y/n, she's in the hospital because she cut her wrist and almost bled to death. I've called you, and texted you telling you to come to the hospital, but here you are drinking away all your problems. I warned you about that bitch, but you chose to ignore me and everyone else including y/n!" Ian let go of me and walked out of the bar.
"Ian!" I called out once I met up with him. His face softened once he saw the state I was in. "Why? Why did she do it?" I choked out.
"Because Shawn," he shook his head, "the way you feel right now over Camila, is the way she has felt for 4 years."
