"You look amazing." My best friend complimented.

I smiled, "thank you."

"Oh," she unzipped her purse and pulled out a piece of paper, "Shawn wanted me to give this to you." she handed me the note.

"I'm going to go get ready." she said carrying her red bridesmaid dress into the bathroom. I just nodded while I unfolded the note.

Dear Devi,
      I'm probably going to regret this, but I have to tell you even though I'm too late. I love you, I have ever since that night we kissed by the lake. I know you're marrying Scott, but I can't keep this to myself anymore. everyone tells me I'm crazy, and I should get over you, but i can't. I've tried so damn hard to get over you, but I just can't. the other night when you were talking about the wedding my heart ached, I saw the way your eyes lit up when you talked about Scott, the way you smiled when you heard his name, i knew you loved him. But just remember I was the one there for you when you thought about breaking up with Scott, I was the one there when you cried over Scott, i was the one that was always there for you, not him.

Tears fell down my cheeks onto the paper smearing the black ink. I can't believe I never realized  it. Shawn was the one that I loved, not Scott.

•Shawn's pov
I sat in the pew waiting for her to walk out behind those double doors. I twirled my tie around with my fingers. I saw my friend Ian look at me with sympathy. I swallowed hard and looked down at my shoes. tears formed in my eyes when I heard the music. She was about to me married to someone that I know doesn't love her anywhere near as much as I love her.

she was beautiful. her hair fell down to the middle of her dress in waterfall curls, the clean white dress fit her curves perfectly, my eyes met hers. I knew she must of read the note by the look she gave me. She looked away quickly before her dad helped her onto the wooden platform. Scott's hand slid into hers as a bright smile formed on his lips.

"Do you, devanshi take Scott to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest asked. (Pretty sure that what they say 😬😂)
This was too much for me. I was making my way through the couple of people beside me, when I stoped dead in my tracks.

No," my eyes widened, my heart was beating out of my chest. "I can't marry you Scott,  I'm so sorry, but I can't marry someone when I love somebody else." Her eyes looked out over the family and friends in front of her. She lifted her dress a little as she walked so she wouldn't fall.

"Shawn," she stopped in front of me. Before I could say anything she crashed her lips on mine. I relaxed into the kiss and cupped her cheeks with my hands.

"I love you too."

This isn't really what you requested, but I mean he is jealous and it is kind of cute so I hope you like devanshi
