i sighed and closed my locker.

"damn, too bad mendes got her." I turned around to see Lee Smith.

I rolled my eyes, "go away lee." I said as he walked closer to me.

"oh, come on baby, your boyfriend isn't here." He said putting his arm on the locker and inching his face closer to mine.

"Her boyfriend is here." Relief washed over me as soon as I heard his familiar voice. Lee sighed as  pushed himself off the locker. He glared at Shawn before  walking out of school.

"Shawn!" I yelled excitedly running to him.

"Surprise baby." Shawn mumbled into my hair. He held onto the bottom of my thighs as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"I missed you so much." I said before kissing him passionately.

"I missed you so much more." Shawn said once we pulled away.

we were walking out of school when lee came up to Shawn.

"You're lucky mendes, if you wouldn't of shown up there's no telling what would of happened." Shawn's hand slipped from mine as he turned to look at lee.

"No," Shawn's jaw clenched, "you're lucky that I don't beat the shit out of you." Shawn said through gritted teeth.

Shawn turned back to me and wrapped his arm around me. As we walked back lee shouted, "id like to hit that."

That was all it took for all hell to break loose. Shawn tackled lee on the ground and had a fistful of his shirt with one hand, while the other hand collided with his face. Lee hit Shawn a couple of times, but it was nothing compared to what Shawn did to lee. A couple of the football player had to pull Shawn off of him.

"don't ever," Shawn said breathlessly, "talk about her that way again."

I ran up to Shawn and made sure he was okay. He had a small bruise on his cheek, and a cut above his eyebrow.

"I love you so much." Shawn said catching me off guard. He wrapped his arms around me tightly.

"I love you too." I said hugging him back, "and thank you for doing that."

"well," he grabbed my hand, "I had to make sure no one was talking about my girl like that." Shawn said as we  walked hand in hand to his jeep.
